I believe that Marcius will be making some form of fatal error at Sharon's investiture. I am not sure that he is so hot headed that it will be outright assassination attempt...But he may challenge her suitability to be an Archon.

I'm more inclined to think that he'll continually attempt to sabotage her authority over Scottstown in order to make her look bad before the princeps in a bid to get the princeps to remove her from her new position.

I expect he will be reoccurring pain for the next few chapters. I expect problems with the southern Archon will be less frequent, but more serious. For one thing, I expect that Marcus will ultimately be hindered by Alexis' impulsiveness.

It is even conceivable for the MC to say, "take a number" and deal with these threats directly himself....(I kind of doubt that as it would reveal his ultra potent blood right away)

I doubt it too.

Yes, the claws would have been pretty difficult to hide, but his CHARISMA and STEALTH abilities need to be kept secret as long as possible.

I know zero compared to most of the posters here. But my mind keeps going back to the nos he knows that keeps digging to free the ancient one. Again I'm not as well studied as anyone here but that is my feeling

I have successfully unlocked all 3 of the abilities now regardless of which path I started on. I am thinking that some amount of the coming chapter(s) need to deal with Sharon and the MC fumbling around trying to figure out what else is lurking in his vampire genetics, including possibly Fabian style thaumaturgy. That would require some study of course.
So current abilities he has or has demonstrated:
Auspex/Heightened Senses/Spidey Senses
Celerity-he is abnormally fast-always first on the scene and the whirlwind image when running to Sharon in woods
Psychometry/Visions(past present)-could be high level Auspex-not always triggered by touch
Whispers-combo mind reading and influence-Sharon's is almost definitely domination-needs eye contact, he doesn't.
(Calisto demonstrated domination when telling him to join her to get embraced)
Claws-more than protean claws or at least more than standard wolf clan claws.
Obfuscate/Invisibility
Laurie as his thrall had some amount of above average ill ease at the old hospital.-could be related to his vision ESP etc.

Now, in order for some of this to get resolved quickly, he could simply ask "What is a Hiereia?" I suspect there will be a singular answer and that Cindy and Fabian will both act prior to him asking this to tell him to shush. Fabian already hinted that letting others know who mommy is might invite him becoming a snack.
"Mommy" says keep Sharon around as she will probably still be useful, not "be careful about whacking her she might give you problems" .
I suspect that our MC is likely much less vulnerable to being someone's snack once we are at the point where those 3 path powers are active. Going invisible and then gaffling someone with those claws would be a strong deterrent. Not to mention his other powers. Should be a good time soon.

Granting that what we are referencing is the primary source that Likesblondes is using as a template for his vampires, getting into this lore is actually a great deal of fun. I have saved the four slots we can have to transition from Rebirth 1 to Rebirth 2. In them I have 2 that I made charisma based, but only one was on purpose, the other was more or less luck. Both of these were successful, but only 1 of those 2 has all three powers unlocked. I then did the prowess route which is arguably the easiest to open all three paths on, and I unlocked all 3 powers. The last one I finished this morning was the stealth based one. I had a hard time getting to the Whisper power on previous stealth attempts, however I nailed all 3 of the paths this time through.

While I know that either the moderator(s) or perhaps the developer frowns on referencing the inspirational material, I have found a lot of hours of enjoyment of speculation of who is what in this wonderful AVN.

One thing that I feel I have to place into my comments frequently is that as we are on a pirate porn site, the expectations of the viewers needs to be managed. Not for my own ego or anything, but because I absolutely respect the work of the developer and do not want johnny come haters to come along complaining about not having much animation or renders of actual traditional sex.

The MC is hung up on sex because he is a brand new vampire and doesn't at first realize that his world has suddenly become so much more expansive and different, and those who play this AVN may not realize this at all as well.

Sex is not a thing for vampires. It does not have the same psychological or physiological effect on vampires that it did for humans, or would for thralls. In fact, for thralls, who have had their world altered, sex would become another addiction for them to express their devotion to their domitor. EXCEPT, the domitor could care less.

That's the best explanation I've heard so far for why Merrick may have disappeared. While I suppose its possible, I have difficulty atm accepting that the thing that nearly killed Sharon would have for some inexplicable reason kidnapped Merrick. It strikes me as more likely that a frenzied Merrick stumbled on the old Nos lair while running, got distracted checking it out, and missed the trip back to the city. Some combination of the two that involves Merrick hiding in the old Nos lair from something that can see through his obfuscation/invisibility ability is also possible I suppose.

To use a combo of film and RPG terminology, the MC needs some more training montages to increase his combat dice pools to make those path powers more fearsome. He could have beat that feral female nos easily had he big enough dice pools to properly utilize his 3 path powers.

I understand your concern regarding the unmet expectations of horny players who think there is too much story and not enough smut. They will no doubt complain crankily. That said, I suspect that the MC is going to be something of an outlier in that he's still going to enjoy sex more than the typical vampire in this universe, even if blood has become a bigger motivator. So while there will still be quite a bit less sex than is typical for this site, I don't think the MC is going to turn his back entirely on sex either. The fact that he managed to actually ejaculate is evidence of that. It's looking like he will simply combine sex with his new biting fetish going down the road.

I recall the statement in the inspirational material that vampires only have two fluids, blood and saliva. So even if a male vamp manages to orgasm, they're either firing blood or nothing at all. I always assumed it was nothing at all, like a guy who has no wads left to fire, unless they cut themselves down below and then consciously willed the blood out. The fact that there was actual ejaculate on Miri's stomach is a divergence from the inspirational material.

And that's a big reason why I don't want my MC thralled to her, even if its mutual. Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I'm liking that sex with Miri, soul stain or not, prevents the MC from taking the next step towards mutual thralldom to/with Sharon. At some point the MC will surpass Sharon sufficiently that our relationship will need a readjustment, and I'd like to approach that point with a clear head, but that time is still a ways off.

I find it amusing that Calisto assumes that the MC finds Sharon irritating and believes that a warning not to kill Sharon yet is actually warranted.

In the mean time, the southern Archon will be present, and this will further cause Sharon and Andrew some issues. This could steal the show from Marcius, which he will hate very much....It is possible that Calisto, not ready for Sharon to be extinguished, may set Fabian on the Southern Archon..... or perhaps Cindy....It is even conceivable for the MC to say, "take a number" and deal with these threats directly himself....(I kind of doubt that as it would reveal his ultra potent blood right away)

by how his claws did aggravated damage, I'd say that MC has Fists of Cain... he just uses them as melee weapons
