That would imply Sharon is some kind of "unstained moral saint" in all her undeath. Which seems very unlikely considering how comfy she is with using her MC powers for feeding/manipulating humans. And the fact she is both surviving and in a pretty good standing in a world full of amoral, backstabbing vamps.
Seems just a cheap way to punish "naughty" players who didn't stay loyal to the main waifu to me.

I don't see how you jump to that conclusion over Sharon, where the whole thing is about MC using his powers to mind rape a girl.

Sure.
The whole "your mouth stinks" thing implies MC is "stained" (if we don't take it literally). It's safe to assume that she considers herself "unstained" to make that comment. Thus the disgust.
My point. It's highly unlikely she is "unstained" and really has the moral high ground over MC considering her age, her skill and ease of use in mind control and her status in the pit of snakes that is the vamp world.

I think that is too much of a stretch. I don't consider myself "unstained" but I can still feel disgust about other people. In the end, it is impossible to see what is going to happen, but it is pretty obvious to me that soulstainmiri is about MC's soul, given ptolemy's comment and how the story has been going around.

If her powers caused any type of meaningful harm to someone, then she should be stained. Getting your soul stained only if you use it to get your rocks off would be kinda stupid I think. I find it very unlikely that she hasn't harmed anyone while doing vamp things all these years. Especially considering her choice of past company.
Now it could be a sign of disappointment/furstration that her "padawan" seems to loose his humanity. A "don't make the mistakes I did" type of thing. That would make more sense to me.

You're a vampire. You unfortunately have to do some bad things to survive. Pretty sure with her moral code she has never done anything purposefully to cause harm to someone innocent. Raping someone (in effect), ie doing something you in no way need to do, purely for pleasure...

Ah so it's selective.
Let's say Archon asks her to get some info about a rival clan or whatever. She finds a human contact and mind fucks him to get the info. While knowing this could get him in serious trouble, even in danger for his life. I'd say considering everything we know about this setting, this is not too far fetched of a scenario right? Should that act stain or not? It has to in my books.

In such a situation as you described, the instinct for self-preservation would presumably triumph over morality, because disappointing the Archon will probably have bad consequences. Whether this can now be called really evil is questionable.
Fortunately, she is now her own Archon and can just show him the finger.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if you're talking about physical transformations the MC can make his nails like claws when he's in danger, become invisible and mind control a person (to an extent). As for other characters there are NO sex scenes that involve those disfigured monsters, the Nos, you see in the image previews.

since the variable is called miriSOULstain, it's all about MC's soul. and no it's not a way to punish players for cheating on Sharon, if it was she wouldn't be ok with MC having fun with Carmen (of course it turned out to be a trap but still). the reason Sharon commented on it is because: she's close to being entralled with the MC so she's sensitive to the changes in him and she's walking towards a path of high humanity so she's really strict with what's good and evil.
What Sharon and other vampires (Even Astrid but she's a crazy bitch so she doesn't care about her soul) are doing can be considered a necessary evil due to the corrupted nature of vampires. and Sharon can't just mindfuck people into doing whatever they want, it must be something they would at least consider (like when MC couldn't speak when Sharon tried to get rid of Laurie by altering the truth of their relationship) but since we're talking about Sharon, she would probably first try to bribe the contact, make him switch to her side or something along the lines. She hasn't mindfucked Carmen for informations, so why would she do that to some bystander?
On the other hand MC was already full of blood when he ran into Miri, he planned to have sex and it wasn't just a spur of a momentary passion (if he and Carmen wanted to have sex and He drank from someone, it wouldn't be different from simply getting stimulated to have a boner, but in Miri's case he was on the prowl), she invited him for some omlette (he could've said he's not eating animal products yet he decieved her by devourig the meal she prepared knowing it does vampires no good, would you eat cardboard just because a chick you want to bang made you some?), then he manipulated her conscience into wanting to have sex ( he could hear her arguements against not doing it) and when they were having sex he wa more focused on drinking blood rather than the woman he took agaist her will. That gotta leave a mark on the soul.
And I'm certain that even Astrid after tasting MC's blood would be disgusted.
but since we'retalking about Astrid, she sure looked fuckable in that "dress"

This is not the best place for a moral debate like that but I would consider putting someone's life in danger with your powers, more serious than using them to get some with someone who was already interested. Self-preservation or not doesn't matter to me, it'd still be harmful use of powers for personal gain.
And everything we know about Astrid portrays her as royal bitch. Which would have her soul black not just stained, being disgusted would make her even more hypocrite than our dear mentor. Does this stain thing only work for MC? That would practically confirm my suspicion it's just a way to railroad towards the "canon" main romance.
It's all assumption anyway. At least until dev reveals more about this whole mechanic.

The source material is like that, to manipulate others is fine to some extent, forcing someone to jump from a roof for the giggles has a Humanity penalty because that's just evil. The same applies to feeding, you can feed from humans without losing Humanity points, but if you bleed a human dry you lose humanity.

As it should. Although our MC here, even at his worst behavior, is nowhere near that.
I'm familiar with VtM. Its obvious influence over this setting is the main reason I'm keeping up with the game.
