Just like his cousin Fabian.
I think Fabian is more removed from the bloodline, but he does have age. Unfortunately he will be "level capped" by his blood potency. I think he is a piece on the board without a doubt.
If he stays loyal, he will be a force for the "good Goddess".

We shall see!

while its unlikely it could also be that Markus doesn't like that and doesn't like being away from his powerbase and is fronting a little as a result. i don't think he knows about Calisto being mommy as yet; he would be a little more circumspect if so[providng he had some idea who Callisto is, as Cindy represented her at the meetings?].
Sorrrrrry for the double post.

No, I do not think Markus "knows" for sure who the MC is descendent from, but I think he has a fair suspicion.

Unless Markus had cause to use the Temple in his past, I do not know that he would grasp exactly who Calisto is either, without a face to face, which we have no evidence of.

It will be interesting to see how Markus does in the fight. Does he resist Ereshkigal? No chance. Does he thwart her intent with some fraction of his will? Again, I would not bet on it. I think it will be a brutal smack down of some Nos, and Markus puts the smack on Laurie who leaps in the way to protect the intended target which is the MC.

I think that will rage the MC, which then will unleash his powah on them, while he is doing that Sharon will make the decision to embrace and save Laurie, or to fight ineffectually along side the MC while Laurie dies.

I do think that it will be mostly the MC vs the collective Nos. Andrew will certainly make for a hard target.

Good times.

I went trough the last few pages and i saw noone talk about this:

Did anyone notice how hostile the Nos got against MC.
they even threaten to kill MC and Markus was like yeah not now but maybe tomorrow
And we all figured out that Markus respected MC as he knew MC was powerful
But now it all seemed to be going out the window.
And i honestly think we are going to get in a bigger fight then we anticipating and i think its gonna involve all the Nos
So the only Nos who take that attitude are strangers, with no exposure to the MC or anyone else. My view is this is how they view all non-Nos, not that they have some particular focus on the the gang. Markus can't be bothered to set them straight he has much more important problems.

Hotfix updated for Ep.4 Update 1

Incorporates fixes for bugs reported by c3p0, frogbert and Nulldev, plus a couple of others and a few typos.

No, didn't read it that way at all? The Creature comes off as hostile, and was the only one to 'threaten' the MC. He's been like that throughout the game, but might just be playing up the monstrous thing to mess with the newbie vamp, like Frank did with Ivy. Markus saying maybe later was just a joke, not an actual threat? If Markus didn't respect the MC, or was actually hostile, he wouldn't tolerate the MC telling the Creature to shut up, or discuss his history with the hideout (provided you didn't lose his trust by outing the feral Nos to Virgil *).

* At least that's how the feral Nos thing is supposed to work, but due to a bug Markus doesn't talk about the hideout if you didn't tell Virgil the feral was Nos. You need a patch or the hotfix to correct this.
Unless Markus had cause to use the Temple in his past, I do not know that he would grasp exactly who Calisto is either, without a face to face, which we have no evidence of.
He might not know what Calisto is exactly, but he'd have to know she's powerful to justify having Cindy turn up for her at events as a proxy. Plus he'd know of Frank's history with Calisto & the temple, and that it was Calisto that 'fixed' Frank & Merrick.
Soulstainmiri good or bad?
Hasn't had much impact apart from getting that lewd or not. On principle I'd say bad, and it's been suggested it's associated with making the MC less human. The fact there's an opportunity to reverse it in the current update suggests it's undesirable.

I'd already predicted NOS vs Pretty vamps battle royal during "Laurie & Carmen Marked by Callisto" update, it's good to see things are finally shaping up for good.

In my opinion Ep - 3 ending was lame because unlike previous episodes there wasn't any climax battle scenario. However folks are too occupied with NOS at the moment and completely miss Eloise, Virgil and monster in the woods (Ep-1 climax battle) my prediction it's either a werewolf or wolf boys - something related to Virgil's gang of monsters. As Virgil and Princeps are different kind of vampire monsters, and unlike Callisto they're not BORED being monsters yet but still enjoying. Therefore a plot twist should be expected.

Why the MC need to make Ivy a Thrall? The MC just need put a bag in Ivy head and said she is going to talk to a very important director of the agency that need to maintain anonymous.

You can't make Ivy a possible LI without her being thralled... It should not come as a shock to anyone who has followed the threads here. It was reported early on about Ivy being one of the 5 possible LI's in the game. Besides IMO I like redheads.

there is nothing wrong with having dozen of LIs, if the devs can manage it ofc.
the problem could be forced things, particularly with LIs included.
for example, I dont see Ivy as a LI, Im not slightly interested in her (standardized redheads freckles cliche and (borderline) loli naive character isnt my thing), so if her being thralled is prerequisite for her becoming legitimate LIs, my only answer is - WTF.
the game is great so far, the story is quite entertaining, yet despite occasional flaws images/avatars related, there are occasional flaws related to script/writing. Imo thralling/forcing Ivy is one of those. Yet, Im not that familiar with this game, and its lore, so I might be wrong...at least hope so:HideThePain:

"It had to be done." is not a good reason for why it happened, but an excuse for how it happened. It was bad. The whole thralling business is handled pretty badly in this game. It's like it's in limbo between being this very repulsive thing, but at the same time it's done casually without a second thought.
Why even have the PC say that it's a difficult thing for him to do, when he's never shown to have any difficulties with actually going through with it? Laurie's thralling was kind of the same, but Ivy's thralling exposing the PC as a fucking dumbass with goldfish memory was just the cherry on top.
Even though this game is very heavy on the story and the porn is almost non-existent, the thralls are a very trashy aspect of it, which exists for seemingly no other reason than for some thinly veiled maledom and harem fetish. The lore won't fix this, because, even if you're very much into the lore, you'll still have to read the shoddy dialogue and story surrounding the thralls, if you want to play the game. It's not satisfying for those, who are into it and it's annoying for those that think it's cringy wishfulfillment in an otherwise mature story.

you might be right, thralling, at least when mc is involved, certainly seems to be related to dom/daddy and (planned) harem kinks...as far as im seeing it, the only exception from common sub/dom relation between masters/vampires and their servants/thralls, is sharon (mc not incleded, as that depends on players choices, to an extant - for example, in my game mc has no intention of being "daddy" to laurie:HideThePain:).

No
No one forgot Virgil and Eloise.
Episode 3 ended with the setup to go to Ereshkigal's tomb and it set up a huge fight, the first of several for the rest of the novel.
I pointed out Virgil and Eloise etc long ago.
That will play out as it comes.
No werewolf. Calisto hit Sharon to set things in motion.
Peace

gameplay, story, appearance and etc. Very interesting, I liked it a lot, the only thing that bothers me is the save transfer, it could be a single file with Episodes I, II, III, IV.

:cool:Yeah, the ep-4 update 1 PC version is 500+Mb already with few minutes gameplay in stills and text:BootyTime:, while many other games could squeeze in animation, stills, text, music, gallery, mini games etc. :WeSmart:into reduced file size this game chooses to create several separate episodes :rolleyes:of stills and text.

I will point out that at the time that Markus insisted that we thrall Ivy, it was to bring her down to interrogate her. Now in all honesty, the MC does not know if Markus has other means of interrogation in his back pocket than just asking the question, so starting the path to thralling her is not a bad option.

As far as her being thralled to be a LI, you have 2 paths, neither of which are attractive to those who do not like coercion.
Brain fucking her
Thralling-which is a form of brain fucking her.

Otherwise she has no reason to be involved.

Vampires are all about brain fucking normal humans to get what they want.
This is not a pro human rights novel.
This is a vampire novel.

Just saying.
Peace

The issue isn't that Ivy was thralled/mind-fucked, both MC & Markus want her around for her speleological skills, even if MC doesn't pursue her romantically. The problem is how it was executed.

MC knows from the outset there's no point Markus talking to Ivy because she's been mind-fucked. After thralling Ivy & bringing her to Markus, he immediately tells him so, he's not even protecting any info by withholding the facts up front. For those not on the callous ass route, this is choosing to screw Ivy up even further for nothing, while telling Sharon how torn up about it he is. In this scenario it would make more sense if MC told Markus Ivy couldn't help from the start, in which case there's no reason to go through with the thralling.

It would have been better to justify thralling Ivy because they want her to accompany them to the cave, rather than just Markus wants to talk to her. Nice guy MC doesn't want to keep messing with Ivy's head, so if they need her to hang with a bunch of Nos thralling is the only remaining option which doesn't end with Ivy dead.

I also thought it was interesting Ivy felt there was something dangerous in the cave, while Andrew & Markus don't pick up on it at all.
