Keep in mind Sharon is adept at twisting the truth, and if she knew that to be the truth, why did she reach to MC's junk, when she could clearly see it wasn't working? because most males don't get to drink vampire blood befoere sex. and as MC stated it was more powerful than regular blood. and when Sharon hinted at her being the one that was denied, it was made obvious she did everything in her power for MC to get it up:
1) She made him meditate to regain humanity
2) she fed him her blood despite Carmen sitting in the cage. she obviously wanted MC to be supercharged
The redhead put a lock on his hardware so other women couldn't ride it

I can't agree with this. Redhead seemed more interested in following the MC as he progresses through vampirism than anything concerning his dick.

I feel like Sharon spells out perfectly why MC is impotent in that scene which she reemphasizes two sentences later. Vampire blood is potent (strong) but not voluminous (filling) and for a Vamp's dick to work they need to be filled to the brim.

The way I see it as it's explained by Sharon, vampire blood is Gatorade and human blood is water. There are no magical properties to Gatorade to restore you to an adequate level of hydration to account for the accelerated dehydration caused by exercising alongside the natural rate of dehydration to keep your metabolism ongoing. Gatorade is great in the moment, potent, but not voluminous, filling, like water is.

Side note, I thought E2P1 would be a lot longer considering EP1's length. Finished it in what felt like 8-10 minutes. This is my first Likesblonde VN, does anyone know his typical turnaround time for updates?

What if, and here you have to bear with me, what if Carmen is a (lupine) theriomorph? Could this be the reason she was able to identity the odd couple and later resist Sharon’s attempt to use her Presence discipline on her (due to Carmen’s werewolf/half-spirit nature)?

From my perspective it looks like she broke her glass and cut her hand on purpose as she was beginning to fall under Sharon's compulsion. The physical pain she inflicted on herself both interrupted Sharon and brought her back into reality.

Plus like she mentions back at your house, Astrid tipped the hunters off to you and Sharon's presence. That's why they call you a 'minnow' and were actually looking to take Sharon down first.

Yeah, I was probaly shooting the breeze there. It is just this dumb, nonsensical wish for diversity and drama.

Isn't Ep.2 Part 1 in this current state rather meant as the first chapter of the second episode and a definite prove of life, after the hiatus caused by ptolemy's health issues? (He's still doing the renders for Rebirth, right?)
In answer to your other question, I wouldn't go so far as to speak of any regular interval of updates, but Life with Mary (LikesBlondes's last game) was pretty consistent.
Maybe a month, or one-and-a-half? Can't really remember.
Life with Mary was probably not as complex and time consuming as Rebirth is in this current state, as more choices and story-branching result in even more renders to be created and one of the devs working on and with different other projects.

I had no idea something like this could become such a problem. So I type long posts, I rant and veer off topic, but it just doesn't seem all that hard for anyone to just move on to the next post. But sure. Didn't mean to cause a fuss and I still don't know what it was that I did that was SO horrible that my posts have been deleted, but I never meant to become a pain in the arse. The moment i watched the green font i knew it was based on Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines.
Unironically this will probably be a better sequel than the new VTMB made by Paradox.

I just got a few posts removed because I compared this masterpiece to other, similar games or something, still fuzzy about the rules, here.. Okay, they were long rants, too, but I don't think one is supposed to mention (advertise?) "Real Games", I dunno. And I wholeheartedly agree that this is something about which I'm way more excited than that .. upcoming thing you mentioned. I dread the nigh-certain disappointment after I buy it. Ah, I’m a little sad because between the extensive rambling, you touched upon various interesting details about the gameplay mechanics utilized by REBIRTH and showcased a somewhat on point analysis of the other Vamp-VN’s greater weaknesses in storytelling as compared to REBIRTH, a fine game without any ties to other IPs, only showcasing common vampire lore and themes of popular culture. Carmen is a werewolf, Astrid is still in love with Sharon and is plotting with the Landlady to overthrow the Archon. Laurie is ...ehm ...she's ...making breakfast. Dun-Dun-Dun!

I was shocked when I saw your earlier rant, couldn't believe the length of it. I read it all the same though as someone not familiar with that other commercial game and only now know about it because people here may have mentioned it once or twice I think

It makes it interesting to think about all the yet to be revealed players behind the scenes in this game. The world and lore being created in Rebirth is coming along nicely and it helps build anticipation for the updates to come

Hunters are mean jerks! It doesn’t matter if they are african-american daywalkers, red-head dhampirs or tiny blond slayers (or President Lincoln?).

Moreover, I’m not so sure keeping Carmen in the basement is such a dandy idea. Whether on the big movie screen, or in a cage in your bunker hide-out: hunters always spell trouble. That cage is only one step away from an Adam-West-Batman-style “death-trap”. If we do not hurry up and convince Carmen to relinquish her evil, stake-wielding ways, she might just get out and …be set on fire by Andrew.

Dammit Carmen. You had one job: Play piano, make Sharon jealous and open up a path leading to a nice, wholesome MFF vampire feeding orgy. Three Jobs!

My theory is that the dremgirl is Lilith, the emblem that was shown where the Sire met the MC looks like a derivative of llith's sigil. My theory is that the redhead is the reason why the MC can't get an erection... the Sire used some sort of hypnosis to lock his junk so it would only react to her, the dreamgirl is on the other hand doing everything in her power to dispell it.

Makes no sense as all the naked girls were brought out at the party for the male vamp's entertainment in v0.01 but they were so bored that all they did was argue with each other... MC's sire did seem like the kinda snooty bitch that would out them for kicks, "that all the worldly pleasures are at their feet and they can't get it up"... But she didn't... I believe the women were only brought out as "Blood Dolls" aka if the men wanted a pick-me-up, the girls were there as drinking vessals (Yes, I do mean containers), it actually says that much in the game, the men argued because that was all they had left in their lives, joy was an ancient feeling to them, only drinking and fighting was left.
Much of the lore for this game does seem to come from one source, but lets focus on what we learn in this game.
One of the MC's abilities may oneday be the ability to seem human, which is also from that other game, but as things are right now he has the same issues as all other vampire males, he doesnt have enough blood to satisfy the ladies...
Whatever the Dev decides to do, is up to them, and we all just have to wait and see.
