VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Red Lucy [v0.9] [LeFrench]

This game surprised me like no other game I have ever played even though the game is still in its beginning Nowadays many games are similar to each other and are almost not original at all. Red Lucy has already made it clear that it has a sensational plot and beautiful characters in its hands. Kat, Rose and Anna are truly gorgeous. I challenge anyone to find a game that has such well-crafted characters and a plot that generates a lot of hype. The only flaw is that the updates bring the plot little forward and therefore the wait becomes boring. I hope LeFrench can please us with voluminous updates.

Recently discovered, a very nice surprise, the renderings are good, the characters are beautiful, the sex scenes are good, the story is nice, nothing incredible but well written is gripping so we are taken by the story, I hope that the devs will achieve the financial objectives desired to continue, he has a great future in the environment

Really really enjoying this and cant wait for this to get updated. (Playing with the patch) I like the relationship between sis, the aunt, the model, and mom. This might seriously have ruined most of the other vn for me with how amazing the stills, animations, and dialogue is on top of the amazing chemistry every single character has with one another. Having to wait for the continuation of this might drive me a bit nuts because i chomping at the bit to see what happens next.

Really good game, amazing graphics, models, MUSIC and the story. Can't even fap because I'm too invested lol. I can't wait to see more updates on this, definitely one of my favorites, the incest aspect may push some people away though.

A breathtakingly beautiful game: the models, the posing, the lighting, the different angels, the attention to detail... All picture perfect, absolute masterclass. The peach fuss, the wrinkles, the cellulite... It's these things that make all the difference. It's these things that give a more realistic feel to it.

However in terms of realism, story wise, it has it's shortcomings. I sense that some things are lost in translation. It's also very bland and done to death: promiscuous aunt, job as a photographer, mystery involving the parents, ... Yet I didn't feel the urge to skip any text, so it's still doable.

In terms of lewdness and lewd scenes, it's top notch. Only, how we get there, the moments and ways they end are sometimes strange. Again I sense some things are lost in translation, mixed with the need to keep the build up going. Always hard to pull off, but none of the scenes felt gratuitous, so not a problem.

Two people who are sexually attracted to each other, can sleep naked and be naked around each other, without doing anything about it. Conveniently they start their explorations the week after their 18th birthday. We are led to believe these are their first sexual encounters, but it seems highly unrealistic and it doesn't feel that way, when viewing the lewd scenes. Again not a problem because the scenes are very hot. You just need to switch your brain off and enjoy it with your eyes.

Your ears can enjoy some popular songs, played in an acoustic version, that gives the game a warm and fuzzy feel to it. Even though the game has some options to corrupt and be dominant, the music seems to give it a more romantic feel.

Despite some grievances story and narration wise, this game is a beautiful jewel to behold. Seeing is believing.

Wow, the story line is brilliant. I'm so invested in the characters and the plot, and I can't wait to see what happens next. The story is engaging and the pacing is perfect. I'm hooked! I can't wait to see what the next update brings. I'm sure it will be just as brilliant as the first one

I've played a ton of AVNs and my favorites are almost always the ones where the action happens only after a good amount of build up. In other words, I love a good slow burn.

Somehow, this game manages to have super hot action more or less right away while still managing to be intensely erotic and teasing. It's masterful. The credit for this rare achievement goes to both the strong writing and the incredibly good visuals.

By writing, I don't mean "plot" or "story." The story, so far, seems pretty standard. A brother, the MC, who is way closer to his sister and his aunt than he ought to be. The rest of the cast consists of hot women who also find the MC suspiciously irresistible. And it's too early to really know what the plot is going to be. Based on what we've seen as of version 0.8, there is a mystery: who are the MC's parents? what happened to them? what is up with this aunt? etc.

Instead, I am referring to the way that the story scenes unfold and the dialogue, which show us that these characters have history. Sexy times may be coming early in the game, but it's clear that sexual tension has been building for a long time. So that slow burn is already baked in, at least for me.

The visuals are even better. Hot models with lots of detail (the sister has white peach fuzz on her lower back, for example, and the aunt has cellulite and a few wrinkles so we know she's not 20), great scenes, camera angles, and lighting.

There is also some great music (guitar instrumentals of well-known pop songs included) and a few cool animations to help give this experience a nice cinematic feel.

This is now in my top 5. Thank you, LeFrench!

It feels pretty short so far but it's written well enough to the point where I already feel invested in most of the characters. Which is saying a lot because not much has actually happened yet.
Sex scenes feel a little awkward. They just kind of end with no climax (both figuratively and literally)
A big reason for why I like it are the acoustic guitar covers and the way music is used to punctuate certain scenes. I always enjoy when devs utilize different things to create their own style.

Still, overall I'd say it's only 4 stars. There's just not a lot as it is right now and I even waited for 2 updates before playing the latest version. It still maybe took only 30 min for the newer stuff.
From start to finish, if you're playing it for the first time could take maybe an hour at most. That's if you really take your time to enjoy it. Although, I think that's only the case if you're like me and just sat back a few times to just listen to the soundtrack.

I want to see more development of the relationships between characters but unfortunately at this pace, I really don't know when we'll get to that point.

Played this a while ago, came back to it yesterday...And I'm here to write a review.
This is a fun game to play with one of the most beautiful models and renders, done with a lot of attention to detail, but still...There are a couple of things I wasn't really a fan of.
1) The content
The premise of the game is not really that complex, but it has some mystery to it, so that was what intrigued me at first. On the other hand, this is an incest game where the incest part just kind of happens , and is not justified. You can get it on with your sister, and your aunt, but there are some limitations. Some dialogues are really good, but others sound quite artificial and I wasn't really convinced.
2) The visuals
Okay, the visuals are definitely something else. Here, I would give the game 5/5 stars because of the amount of detail and varied models. The animations look good but there are not many of them.
3) The playability
This is not a decision-based game. Still, the gameplay is improved because of the original acoustic versions of very popular songs (which sound really good), but sometimes aren't fitting.
I guess it's definitely an above average game with amazing graphics, but lacks some motives and justification when it comes to the story.

Sooo, how did we get to the point where we can easily bang our sis and aunt again? And why on earth are females in this story so horny all the time? They are total sluts. It's like one of those free use family porn videos. Shouldn't we try to seduce and corrupt them somehow? 3 stars is for the artwork. I don't really see this story going anywhere. Maybe a prequel to this would make a difference. Because we all know the siblings were probably born in an incest relationship.

It's not often I come across a project that doesn't include an idiotic sidekick just for 'shits & giggles' (specially when most often it's more 'shits' than it is 'giggles'). But it is presented very well in this early version.

The characters are intriguing and have a lot of potential. The sex scenes, which there are not many of at this point, but I don't mind as I'm more content oriented over childish digital porn. But when it's presented in such a fashion that they're more romantic over an attempt to replace pornhub, then I'm all for it.

The current soundtrack is fantastic IMHO. I found myself signing to many of the classic tunes, I really hope they remain in future updates.

I'm eager to see (and listen to) more of this particular title.

Unbiased Red Lucy Review

Pros

-Very good renders, part of the new wave that breaks away from the same daz shit. Poses, angles, models. Its great.

-Sexual tension is done quite well in this game. Something very few VN'S get right.

Cons

-For starters don't waste your time expecting alot of sex scenes, currently there is only 1-2 of the same girl.

-Updates are basically a joke, its like a total of 6 more clicks per update. It takes about 3-4 months per update and people lose it when the lack of content gets called out. As of right now you can breeze this game in 5-10 mins

-No scene gallery

There's honestly not much else to write, that's just it because there isn't much to the game atm. Writing anything more is just making stuff up.
Do take note while it has glowing 'reviews' they don't actually tell you about the game at all. Its more about how in love with the idea these other people are.

I love this game! Top 5 at least! lefrench's film style is top notch and the accompanying music is perfect. This is one of those games (For me at least) where, once I have completed the latest play, I generally just sit and think, with echoes of the soundtrack in my head. Could be the weed too. Probably is the weed too. But goddamn this is a good story!
The "Cinematography" is brilliant. The each scene is lush with depth, which makes the camera pans REALLY striking.

So I'm only giving this 2 stars. If this was just some image gallery then it might get 5. But it's a VN, and it's a poor one.

Red Lucy has some of the worst non-choices I've seen in a VN. At one point the MC is asked a question and your options are "Absolutely" or "Of course". Another option being the choice between "Pull her closer" and "Embrace her". Not all of the choices are like this, but enough of them are.

The story serves little purpose other than getting you from one sex scene to the next with a bunch of women who are of course all over you.

Oh, and the MC has some horrendous sideburns.

As of right now this game stands at 3 stars. Seems to be my favorite rating but this game is definitely not 5 stars as it stands, it also isn't bad either but it has it's flaws and not too many positives.

Firstly the graphics, renders, music are all on point. The graphics speak for themself, the game looks beautiful, and while for most that's good enough to give it 5 stars along with it having animations and sex scenes with busty women it's not here. The girls do look good, even with their perfectly thick body proportions though I guess it can be excused as they workout and model here but if age is supposed to be playing a factor then these women aged very well.

Older women do look older in the face I will give the dev that. The music is a lot of fun. There's only one other game I played with the music actually on but this one is cool because you'll notice guitar covers of a lot of popular songs in this one. Got to give props for that as well.

Now onto some of the bad. There ain't much story here to speak of. I mean there's premise and build but it's just a lot of build at the moment and things happening for.....reasons. It's an incest story that does the bare minimum to acknowledge or justify it, so it really comes across more like a porn with a hint of plot mixed in. Women's clothes will be falling off for no reason, the MC's family is just fine with being naked around him without any explanation, they can go to some lengths right away but have to slowly cross other lines.

It's all a bit confusing. I won't spoil the main thread as the dev seems to want that to be a surprise but the twist coming is looking kinda meh.. There's 4 LI's right now, and honestly other than looks there's really no telling them apart besides their levels of aggression. Sister? Aggressive. Aunt? Aggressive. Neighbor? Slightly aggressive but gets more aggressive towards the end. Model? More reserved/not that aggressive....yet....

The MC is bland and plain. All the women around him are throwing themselves at him for no particular reason at all. He's not smooth, he hasn't really helped them or bonded with them that we can see, hell two of the LI's call him out for being timid in the game. I don't mind aggressive women at all, but I mean these ones just seem to want to jump MC's bones because he's the only male in vicinity, except one has a husband so can't really explain that one. We'll find out later he's impotent, or cheating, or a total d-bag later I'm sure.

But none of the characters have any differing qualities in personality about them. The aunt and the neighbor are pretty much the same, the sister just has a different dynamic but nothing really stands out about her and the model we don't really know yet, but she paints and that's about it and the MC can play the guitar... None of these characters will be remembered for much longer after a player is done with the game as it stands now.

None of this is equaling up to 5 stars. It's not a bad game, I don't regret playing it, but I don't think in a couple days I'll remember it much either. I'll keep an eye on it and change the score should it progress better in the future, but as it stands right now, it's a pretty looking porn game with aggressive women. If you want a good story? As it stands now, probably give this game a little more time to cook before diving in. If you want something nice to look at and fap to then have at it I guess.

I played Red Lucy for the first time with the release of this version 0.7. I don't know how this game slipped me before and it was a fantastic and most welcome surprise. I fully agree with all the praise that has already been made on this forum. The excellente graphic quality of the characters, the narrative full of great eroticism, are, in my opinion, the hight point of this wonderful game, which makes it deserved a ten "cum laude". Congratulations, continue with your excellent work and I would just like to add: Merci Beaucoup, Vive La France et Vive LeFrench.

Just a breath of fresh air in a stale game market. Finally some original characters with AMAZING renders focusing on emotion and composition. The music actually compliments the story as well, and the story is very well written. I just hope they keep the momentum up.

This is one of those games with potential. The issues are length, MC, and how everything happens. It's also another game that is very much style over substance. I haven't even read a review yet and I know the majority will be "Durr the girls are so pretty." And I will say, the use of atypical Daz models and a good understanding of color grading goes a long way, especially on this site. It doesn't change the fact that MC is an ugly wet blanket that barely does more than stand there, slack-jawed with no discernable qualities. And for whatever reason all these women are smitten with him. It'd be okay if this was one of the games that hide MC's face to make a self-insert, but no, you have to constantly look at his wishy-washy face and slicked back hair. If he had an opinion of his own or did anything at all, I'd be okay with it. But as it stands, this has no story or hook. It's just "One day some kid with a guitar gets sexual with his sister and aunt, then sexually assaults his neighbor after staring at her longingly for years." And it's a shame because the dialogue is written pretty well. This is also so short I feel like I'm reviewing it too early but we're coming up on a year now and this is maybe 30 minutes long? And every update includes a whopping 30 syllables of content.

To sum up the story, MC plays guitar. His parents are MIA(but not really). His sister, aunt, neighbor(mother), and a model all want to have sex with him because.... Reasons? And he helps his aunt with a photoshoot. That's it. It focuses on renders with a bunch of "trying to be deep" camera angles and feels like it tries to have a render for every line of dialogue. Which means this will be "finished" in the year 2134. It may seem a bit facetious, but I literally can't think of anything I'm leaving out of the story synopsis. It's just ambiguous line after some foreshadowy image then the LI looks at MC longingly and he's once again rewarded with sex. Then it ends.

The English is almost there but there's still lines like "You better do." And the UI is okay, the main menu is heavily edited and there's a different font, but the settings and load screens are still default, so almost there. And the good presentation means UX is fine. The art, like I said, is the focus so it all looks really good, minus MC's dopey face. The dialogue is alright, I mean, there's not a lot to go off of, but it's mostly personable minus the fact that it's a redneck's wet dream. And there's no story is the issue. "A brother and sister live with their grandpa and their aunt stops by..." But that's not a story, that's a sentence? Maybe once there's more here, I can rate this higher, but with what's here I can't go above 3.

Another master piece in the making, this game is one of the most immersive game I've played, story is great, pacing is great due to how the storyline is set up and it's believable.

This game rocks. The renders are top-notch. The story is intriguing and so far is quite different from other *landlady/roommate* stories. The music actually brings the game up to another level. It's well done and if you have the patience the animated scenes while the music is playing are well worth watching. And the sex scenes are hot. I eagerly await more. I hope the Dev introduces optional pregnancy, urination, anal, multiple penetration with strap-ons/toys, and creampie eating. Also, a solo love route with the roommate would be awesome.
