Well, something is definitely off. Those pics can't be from the same game at all: the code says the button is called "Spanish", yet on screen it shows "español". And what's the original language of the game? In the code it would be Spanish as it's defined as None, but you're saying that the translation is not working (the 'español' button doesn't work).

Esas fotos no pueden ser del mismo juego, en el código dice que el botón se llama "Spanish" pero en la pantalla se ve que pone "español". ¿Y cuál es idioma original del juego? It's still insufficient to know what your problem is. Could you please tell me if your tl folder is actually called "Spanish", and not spanish or español or something else? Or just upload one of your translation scripts

Hello, thanks for using my tool. If you have troubles with adding a button, try alternative way of changing game language using a small file. There is a Q&A section in the first post describing this question, or you can get the file from this post and change language inside it to prefered one.
hello friends is there any way to translate the game quickly? Because I am doing it in the following way in pieces with the google translator because it does not admit more than 3900 characters and then I have to be copying and pasting please help me in this I am from Cuba and the internet is very expensive.

Hello, if you game is written with RenPy, all you need is to read the first post, it has all instructions to translate the game. Also there are tools like translate++, that translate RenPy games in realtime.

Well, if people don't understand what was API created for, they can call it with any words they want.
Just spamming google translator with requests using a web-browser is a bad idea, sooner or later it will lead to a captcha after each request, and your IP will just get a bad score.
I don't have a credit card so i try the free way, but when i download the file and rename to google.json, the program does not recognize and the

I have tried you method but he doesn't work properly for me, he doesn't automatically ignore variables how the github post says and some times he only translate half of the line or even a single word in the line, do you have any idea how can i fix this?
your method was as close as i could get to actually translating a game since i don't have a card and this google cloud shit sucks

You've downloaded the wrong file, or made a mistake in file name (if you have file extensions hidden in your system, so actually your file was named as google.json.json), or you've placed it in a wrong folder. It is difficult to say without seeing.
If you don't have a credit card, try using the other tool, called Translator++, it translates the game in real-time, maybe it will help you.

So i only have to rename the file to "google"? and the .json will be the extension? i already try the Translator++ sadly doesn't work for me.
My friend, this is not my method, I just tried it and then posted it.
