I think you misunderstand my problem; the problem is not that I don't know that the quest exists, the problem is that I don't know how to trigger it in such a manner that results in her becoming a righteous blade. As far as I can see I have done Sandra's treasure dungeon and got the treasure a long time ago but she still has shadowblade as her description, talking to either Glen or Sandra does not move the story on at all. When I previously answered that I had not done Glen's special test it was because I didn't know that Glen's exam was what was referred to because Sandra still shows as shadowblade; I assumed there was a "special" test after the exam.
I have attached the save file you requested; this is my latest save file but the problem exists in all earlier files as well. It appears that .rpgsave is not an allowed extension; I have 7zipped it to change it into an allowable file format.

Have you finished the main story Quests already?
I only remember it was one of the last Quests I triggered in my last playthrough.
Maybe try the other girls Events some more it should trigger eventually

According to your save file, you're still on step 4 of Sandra's events as listed in the walkthrough. You need to talk with Jenny in the casino in Newkungu to get Sandra's stripping scene, then you can continue her events. Shirinsya appears at Havaria port way later in Sandra's event, at step 7.

I normally use the expensive coat on most, since it offers the highest stats and balance of Def and MDef
Oh thankyou very much, I will try that. Just for clarification s it possible to do the events out of order because I feel sure that I have done the events 5 and 6 (ie the jade and the Glen's test dungeon)? Also if the events are done out of sequence can that cause any problems or does it not matter? I apologize for not realizing that step 4 was still pending but I assumed it had to have been completed because I had already done the dungeon; I assumed that Sandra would not ask about Bob until the previous steps were complete.

In most cases, the previous step is necessary in order to unlock the next step, but that is not always the case.
I don't remember if it is intended to work that way with Glen's dungeon. Try to advance the events with the scene in the Newkungu casino, and let me know should you encounter any problems later.

Have you build the bathhouse on the country overview map yet? That might be the requirement you're missing.
EDIT: I realized one more detail I should mention. Not only do you need to build the bathhouse, but you need to go inside and have the event with the woman in the outdoor bath of the bathhouse, before the quest for Grey will appear on the city board.

mby u right i didnt build those. I was guided by walkthrough22.1013. Please update quest in walkthrough. There is no mention of the building there.

the second public health upgrade from Sir Edward in your castle.

It's not phrased very well, but it's the "second public health upgrade", which means you need the first upgrade, which is to build the clinic, before you can build the bathhouse.
I know that the walkthrough is missing some information, or is not detailed enough at times, that's why I'm currently working on a wiki page as a much more detailed guide, where people can also add comments and more details where needed.
still no quest at board. there is a quest from NPC to get this quest ?. eeeeehhhhhhhh i will start over '90 quests'............... game is broken at some point,

problem repaired. game "thinks', something is still incomplete. i went to bathhouse, talk with npc around, and i got quest at board that wasn't there before.
The game has a 'trigger 'problem.

The game has no trigger problem, and it's definitely not broken either.
As mentioned in the edit of my previous message, it's not only necessary to build the bathhouse, but you need to talk with the woman in the outdoor bath to have her event. Maybe I should've posted it in a new message, to make sure that you see it.
The only real problem is the lack of information in some parts of the walkthrough. But as I mentioned earlier, I'm already working on a wiki page to solve this issue.
I assume you also need to meet Lady Akira in Witton for inspection? Since she is involved in the Grey quest (and that quest starts right in Ryen's bedroom and has no prerequisites, so you can't somehow fail to get it).
Wiki page is good, the Walkthrough is nice and all, but it's not very accurate on some stuff, and some other stuff is outdated (like skill lists).
