Anytime you include anything controversial people want an option to avoid it. So now you're creating content for each release that a significant number of people will never see because they say they want to avoid "Gay Content", etc.

Imagine a game that when it started it had 20 options where people could turn on/off things. If you generated paths for all of them the release could be 400 images but each path might only have 5 images based on how many permutations you created of those 20 on/off options.

People would not like a chapter that had just 5 renders.
