Who knows, but it's a ridiculous thing to say when our updates are probably bigger than anything any other dev is putting out (especially considering we're juggling three games). Whether you like the content or not is another story, but saying the episode is short, is just objectively false.
So since I never got an answer in the Red falls thread I guess Ill ask here, why are XRed's games listed under other games? Are you guys actually one studio with 2 names?

I knew about that one as the talk about the Jennifer game on the main page a bit, but to my knowledge I never saw one about them and XRed. Of course I dont read every post though

dunno what game xred makes (haven't pumped on it yet).
I'd recommend Red Falls as it shows a lot of promise if delivered on what's said, but its really early in development and not much for the MC but watching others. Lewd island just isn't that good. The renders are a bit outdated at this point which was the main draw (At least compared to some of the games being put out today), and the story took a huge hit with the second to last update. Honestly Mia and EoL are just better, at least until Red Falls gets off the ground more

doubt anything happened it, even abandoned games threads linger here.

Just ran into my first 'careful for your choices' on whether MC ended the relationship or "she" did, and frankly, I'm worried that one answer is a 'lie' (That MC ended it) and I won't know until it blows up in my face later... though for my first playthrough and basing on how my MC ended swm1, it didn't look like he'd be the one to cut things off at that stage in his life.

And now that I've played just a bit further, I now get the sense that this was a sort of method of 'choose your background' for the narrative, and entirely up to me to choose how I fill in the background between the two games.

we don't know how choices matter so therefore those don't matter.

All caught up! Now I can't wait for the next update lol.

Great stuff! This may be the first 'big' sequel game I've played, so for my first 'main' playthrough I tried to make decisions with the mindset that MC did grow and mature a bit since swm1, but still ultimately has feelings for his sister (as well as most women lol). On this path I truly don't know if MC will stay loyal to Sadie and develop a mature relationship with Mia, or if MC ends up having to choose Mia over Sadie (Dream would be both, but I'm not holding my breath...). Usually on my first main runs of games I typically operate with a horndog MC who bangs most everything, but this first run I did strive to push the envelope at times (teasing with Viviane), but not actually cross the line - I turned down Cindy initially as well as later on, and frankly currently am aiming at just Sadie and Mia... but damn if Isla and Grace aren't tempting forbidden fruit when the time comes. I think Cindy's airheadedness at times is what put me off from considering cheating with her - just wouldn't trust her to not mess things up.

Still, I appreciate the content for the ones who do want to pursue her and I hope that as the game progresses, a 'stay loyal to Sadie only' path remains viable with the content compared to banging everything in sight.

Definitely plan on playing different routes during updates, just to see all the content, but that main path is going to be interesting...

That really depends on how you interpreted the ending of the first game. Was the MC really in love with Mia or not? How much did Mia leaving impact him? If he loved her it would make sense for him to break up with the mom and start 'growing up' so to speak. He clearly matured a lot during those two years, and I don't think the mom breaking up their relationship would warrant such a big change in character. So, in my opinion the MC loved Mia, he just realized it too late. The taboo nature of their relationship meant that neither of them took each other seriously. Both of them loved the sex, but neither of them showed that they would want something more. I think the whole making incest porn plus having sex on stage drove a little bit of wedge between them, at least from the MC's perspective since he wasn't really keen on those ideas. If I remember correctly that was around the time he started having sex with the mom. The mom at that point represented something new and normal (meaning not fucking on camera etc.) so the MC was more keen on her. Mia then started catching feelings and acted weird because of that, while the MC had to deal with the whole blackmail thing which again drove them further apart a bit. At the end the MC realized he fucked up and was ready to talk about his feelings, but Mia shut him down twice. That for me proved that he definitely loved her at least in his own immature way. Now for this game the choice is there, so I guess you can also go with the other option in which case there was no love, but honestly I just can't see that ever being an option.

As for what the choice means in this game? I think it's pretty clear that the game will be about proving to Mia that you love(d) her and that you changed, so what better way to start doing that by saying that you broke up with the mom even though you didn't really have to since Mia wasn't in the picture anymore? Regardless of the answer the MC clearly states in his thoughts that he is going to tell the truth so he is definitely not lying.
