this is sequel to summer with mia and was originally named as summer with mia 2 but steam didn't accept that (and few other things) so sequel became this.

Yes, I'm a sick fuck. I am aware of this and I somehow live with it. But I really really liked what Inceton Games did, especially in the second part

We asked about 3rd game with Mia, but people from Inceton Games told us that Returning to Mia is the last part. As the game has a few endings it will be difficult to make part 3. UnfortunatellyAnd hopefully a prequel of the third game.

They could pick one path, they would say it's not canon ending we are just expanding the epilogue and make a game out of it. Mia&MC's travels sounds good enough to follow, or they can even make 2 games which follows both of the options like After Summer: Mia's Road & After Summer: Sadie's Road. In Sadie's game they can even put the reunion ending too.
So in the end these things came down to 2 things, one is the business side if they expect a good revenue from it they will consider making more Mia games. The other one, which I think is the more important one, artistic side. This side includes the will of making new Mia game. People kinda miss this part but these games follow the way of creating an art. They need inspiration to write something, inspiration to crate images, they need fulfilment from creating it etc. In the end, artistic side cuts both way. When you work on something too long you'll get burned out, you won't even look at what you created, you wouldn't even want to hear anything about it and so on then after a while you'll have an urge to make some more, something new with it. So if business and artistic sides align, there is no real reason to not make another game.
All in all, I do know they said they concluded Mia story and I'd say they did it beautifully at least story-wise, I also get they busy with lots of games and they try to avoid spread too thin by starting to make another one but there is always a possibility see another Mia game down the line, maybe not soon but someday. I'll be one of the first one to buy if I see they release it.

Sadie is fine, she definitely loves MC very much and is a great girlfriend for him. But I played it for the Mia and MC track. And I would like Inceton Games to consider it canonical. Choosing Mia forever! #TeamMia

I'm sure new adventures could be invented for Mia, MC and their child/children. In fact, I am only interested in this path. I couldn't wait for Returning to Mia to be released because my only intention was to get Mia back. I did it, I got the Epilogue I was hoping for and the only development in part 3 that would interest me is the development of such an ending. Family: Mia, MC and their children.
Well, honestly I wouldn't hold your breath. My comment was a total TIC joke. I truly think they've reached a firm stopping point with this story and it's best left where it is.

That's why I wrote that it's possible to do something further, but as you yourself noticed, it's unlikely to happen. I've come to terms with it and I'm waiting for Lust Theory 3. It's true that the ending of Lust Theory 2 stopped me for a while and I had to postpone finishing the game. What they came up with at the end is interesting, but also a bit sad for me... We'll see how they solve it in part 3
