If people REALLY don't want to have to put up with the anticheat this is how you work around it:

Save your game every passage.
Every time a skill check comes up, load the previous passage, open the dev console in your browser to shuffle your stats.
Set the ones you dont need to 0 to avoid triggering the blobfish anticheat, set the ones you want to a "legit" value
proceed to the skillcheck passage again.

Cheating or not cheating!

what a strange question.

As a creator

it seems to me that someone who sing a song, tell a story (via a game or a film as you want) should be free de tell the tale as he wants. If someone has any complaint, try to tell a better story first then come back later.
As a creator, the story is like our little baby so i think it's really not fair to disrespect the baby. Try to say to Eminem you find one of his tenses shitty on one of his song .. If he has some time to loose to answer to your complaint, maybe he would made a song just for you that i'll be happy to listen
Creator are not all like Eminem but their baby should be respected at least.
I think if all the time Violet kitten take to the anticheat was used for the story we would be more pleased (for playing more)
In short it should not be part as his worktime on a game, but sadly it was.

As a player

One of my 1st game i finished proudly was Baldur's Gate .. with a dwarf warrior left with 6/104hp at the end. It was tough but fun. as BG3 came i tried to replay BG but this time i give up. Done it once and was not feeling to play as long as the first time and drop it.
Then i thought it would be fun to cheat a little to look after what i didn't see the 1st time but don't want to loose time on some part i have already done many times. So i guess sometimes cheating could avoid "boredom"
If you played skyrim or other games, you know there are many mods which are not very balance so could possibly be called cheats.
but these mods gave more sparelife to skyrim ( as well as some better textures ).
The Core is respected and mods give other options without killing the game (you could put them off as you want and play the basic game as wanted)

Mods arent/shouldn't be made by the creator but by community fan. They are evidences to the fans liked the baby and want more.

So ..

Sometimes i want some hard stuff, sometimes i don't feel to take time, wanting some "light" play (like hack'n'slah vs roleplaying game and vice et versa).
Having a cheatmode you can earn after playing the game and finishing it could be rewarding. And more the difficulty was set up, the more cheats you earn.

No Pain no Gain, but if we go through all the hard way, why don't give up/us some cheese/cheats

I usually don‘t play games multiple times, as I don’t have the time and usually don’t want to play some sections again.Sometimes I come across a game that intrigues me and I want to see most, if not all it has to offer. This seems to have become one of those.However, often there are just some choices I wonder "what would happen if I choose this instead?" and often those choices are locked behind a skill check.
With the anti cheat in place I would have to replay pretty much all of the game in order to see what this one choice has to offer. Without the anti cheat I can just quickly change my stats and have a look.
Example is in the first fight in the training grounds. As I had no idea how the skills are used in the game I picked mostly seduction. However, I was intrigued to see what happens if you actually win the fight. Luckily, that was at the beginning, so it didn't hurt to restart and have a look. Would that have been a scene in the town I would have gotten frustrated.

I really like your writing and want to see where the story will go. Especially if you can actually become a vampire (as the banner seems to suggest) and how that will be handled in the story. And I would be happy to subscribe to your patreon now that I have seen what you are working on.
However, I am not going to pay a writer that wastes his/her time on an anti cheat instead of focussing on writing the story.
I understand where you are coming from and that you don't want to give in to the hate you are receiving. But I don't think it does you any good. You waste your energy on something that you only keep alive to spite them. And in order to do so you have to make it overly complicated, taking more of your time away from advancing the story.
And all that effort is for nothing as I (and some others) have already cracked the anti cheat. (I won't post it, as I said I respect your work).
Maybe don't see it as giving in to the haters but as giving something to your fans. Just fuck the haters and do what is fun for you. Focus on the positive!

Greetings everyone, I hope everything has been going well for you all.

I have just released the latest update which contains the new Marie Romance. You can try it out by meeting Marie in front of the Cherlese inn during the second day. This new romance adds many lesbian sex scenes along with a lot of new dialogue with the citizens of Cherlese. The Marie storyline even offers the player an alternate ending for the second day, as well as a new outfit. There is also a free Christmas outfit that you can unlock by entering "Santa" or "Merry Christmas" in the Extras menu so I hope you enjoy.

News about the new Glow/Glowless versions:

Since the glow version has been well known to cause lag issues for anyone not using Firefox, I have decided to remove the glow from the official version and add it as an optional download for those using Firefox or any other browser that can handle the glow effects. Firefox has been my primary browser for a long time so I never noticed the lag but since I feel many people use different browsers, it only feels right to make the non glow version the official one so that new players don't get a bad first impression.

Announcement about the Anti-Cheat System:

The anti-cheat system has been a hot button issue for many people which I didn't quite understand. I was just trying to preserve the best experience that I felt the player should have but I have received some feedback from some calm mature people lately, who explained to me why they find it intrusive, and to those mature people who came to me, I'd like to thank you for being mature and not flying into a temper tantrum because of a small thing like this. After all this feedback and some alone time, I have decided to remove the anti-cheat in the next version of the game.

It has been far more trouble then it's worth and another thing to break when working on new updates. I already have enough breaking without that adding to it. Though I still do feel bad when people choose to cheat because I have created this system that rewards players for progressing by giving them skill points to unlock dialogue so those who are cheating, will strip the rewards and the entire stat/trait system from the game. I feel that will lead to a lesser experience but I won't try to control how anyone plays anymore. If people don't like having progression systems or feeling rewarded when playing then I won't try to change that.

I only hope that people don't blame this game for not feeling rewarding after using cheats because I won't change the reward system for those who wish to play the game in an unintended way. Even after this change, I do hope that many people will still choose to play the game as it is intended to be played because I have put a ton of work in the stat/progression system and it will be very disheartening to see it just ignored. Either way, I plan on removing the anti-cheat in the next update because doing so, will require a new save file and since my next update will be adding to the first day, it seems like the best update to make this change.

Well that is why those images are off by default. I would really prefer to not use them at all but I leave them in there for anyone who needs/wants sex images while they play.

As I have said before relationship(Dating) really needs some work, I'm not saying MC needs to read out who she's in relationship with and all,I mean she should atleast acknowledge the fact that she's dating whenever getting intimate with someone else .
Also there's a issue or bug regarding MC's virginity, The scene implies that mc is virgin whenever having sex in village even though she already lost it in the camp.

No offense, but I have never played a singleplayer game, professional or otherwise, where a cheat prevention system improved the experience.

I understand that you have put a lot of work into it and want players to experience your game "properly" but that's not how it works. Those that want to progress as intended or are willing to roll with the punches will do so anyway and those who want to cheat won't suddenly appreciate your efforts just because you put barriers in their way. Instead they'll be pissed that they can't play their way and either find a way to break your system or not bother with your game at all.

So yeah, good call getting rid of that.

since we are talking about anticheats...
my problem with them
1) i'm completions,if i can't do/trigger certain event/find item/finish quest i just look in to the game guts,if i can't i just drop the game,i fucking hate wasting my time running around the problem without knowing how to proceed,i have better thing to spend my time on.
2) i also can't go pass the challenge,when i hit roadblock and there is an anticheat i can spend whole day trying to deal with it,then i just get bored and drop the game cuz "i have better thing to spend my time on" never to touch it ever again
3)if a player want to cheat,let him.it's his own damn business how he enjoy things,forcing it doesnt make him enjoy shit. i personally only feel pressured since i know i can hit roadblock,game breaking bug or other shit,and when it's feeling like im playing iron mode i simple dont play,i'm playing to chill and enjoy myself,not feel like i'm trying to defuse a bomb.
4) denying me my right to click (hint: right click puns ) triggers me,i'm no to be denied to click right button at anytime no matter what.
