I don't think it's a bug because it don't prevent to finish the game BUT when you can choose one of the 2 quest in castle capital: if you choose directly the hellhound subjugation you cannot the maid job after.

Do you remember the town with the bridge repair old guy? The one next to the boat? North of that is a cave with a female npc next to it. Buy a cherry from her and enter the cave. After you get through the whole cave you'll be able to reach the hermit's house who'll let you remember megiddo.
I know it's a bit late, but if anyone is still interested a patch for the Sealance bug (i.e. h-scene not activated in the prostitute quests).
Download, decompress and replace the "Map044.json" file into the "\www\data" sub-folder of the game. DO BACKUP the ORIGINAL FILE first.

Talk to Zeras first to advance, when you've finished this quest (i.e. before talking to the man in the prostitute house).

heck am i supposed to do in the village with the inn? the first village? only thing i could do was get a slime companion, if i try to leave she says she needs to get to the inn somehow, doesn't seem to be any secret entrances, all houses are locked, and the only two people i can talk to doesn't progress the game...

The scariest thing is corruption of the personality.
It's not about what she's doing, but rather the fact that she can't control what she is becoming.
If the title is hereditary, then the succession process will be according to the ancestor who proclaimed themself as a ruler.
The problem is how demon king implies a male ruler.
For some, it's very weird for a king to be a woman.
But overall, it makes no difference.
In this case, they are still a ruler of demons
