You need to talk to Zoe when she's at work and then you have to talk to your best friend at his house in the morning.

You should not have been able to get to that point with Anna without first advancing Zoe to a later point. Did you use a save file from an earlier version, or did you alter the save file?
If you didn't do any of this, let me know so I can start looking for what causes this bug.

I have the same exact problem, first time playing the game, no edits to save file... are there any workarounds?

I think he needed a convenient place where they wouldn't get caught by mom and he didn't want to spend money on a hotel and hey at least the mc is the whore and not her.
