Its make me really sad what this great game is (most likely) abandoned, NM version i consider one of the best porn games in history, period. Its good what he can made ending, but we have so much more unrealised possibilities - from plotline with your alien daughter to taking revenge on Frank by turning him into copy of his mother. And we didnt even fully reach pregnacy content! Oh, this game have so much opportunities in this.
I still hope what Ferdafs will return or NM find a way to continue it developement, but yeah - its most likely didnt happend.

As we all know, the actual Rick and Morty show is not planning on ending anytime soon, and this game has been one of the most popular and well-received porn games ever, which means that it still has incredible potential to keep on going. At the same time though, I understand why Ferdafs would disappear and why you (NM) wouldn't want to take over all his responsibilities.
So I'm wondering if after you conclude your version, you could make your Ren'Py code open source and provide some documentation so that others that are willing and eager can fork the repository and continue the game, perhaps under a slightly different name, just as you did with the original version. What do you think? I'd just hate to see this game die along with its developers. It deserves better, and there is a market for it.
As a sub on their Pateron, I don't think any of those are his. The only other ones I know of are a couple of Unfinished Overwatch games. RnM is by far their biggest game.

I mean... it is open source? All the source code is included in each release (the rpy files are plain text). And the uncompressed images are also there for anyone that wants them. I'm not likely to make any documentation for it.
