Damn, first release and already fixed every single issue I had with the original (performance, click-skipping, bugged UI, scenes taking forever to get to, almost unusable gallery). You, Sir, are a hero. Can I buy you a coffee by chance?
Glad you like it, I tried to make it the best I could (and fix the many issue I have with the original). I'm not a coffee drinker, but if you feel the desire, as rough as the Unity version is, this could not exist without the original. You might consider sliding a cup Ferdafs way as this version will only get more content so long as they keep making more.

My guess here is that Ferdafs went with Unity mostly for Real2D (animations) and Fungus (dialogue). There is VERY little coding in the Unity version (part of why its so buggy), maybe just not a programmer? I'm not an artist, making art for my own work had been... not great. Thus, this project.

Tons of menus drive me crazy in porn games! I need my hands for - uh, texting, yeah...

I tried to have a good mix of choice without lots of pointless clicks, because, that was a MAJOR issue in the original. But yeah, I'm kinda proud of the AutoMenu idea and I'm glad to see others like it as well.

The Unity version is a big game, but it does have a lot in it so it makes sense why it's so big. I crunched this version down to make is smaller because on export it's actually 7.8GBs, which is a little larger than the original.

3.5GB of it are 6500+ images, 4.5GB of it are the 450+ webm files, before crunching. Looking at the visual difference in images before and after crunch, they're nearly identical.

But, I also agree, my project would not exist if not for Ferdafs hard work (which I have done my best to credit where possible). This version won't get content updates outside of what gets added to the Unity version. But, just as true this port/remake/renification(?) wouldn't exist if not for the lack of fixes, quality of life improvements, bugs, missing scenes, dialogue choices, etc... In the Unity version.

I obviously love this game (well, I love Rick and Morty and want more porn of it... but I do like this game a lot too), as evidenced by spending 6 months of my life working on it nearly every day, with no intent to monetize at the end.
Thanks for the insight. I don't code much so the reasons to go for one platform/engine over the other will always be up to the developer, but I think in terms of preference and performance (running on an old laptop so...) I'll always want to play Ren'Py games over RPGM or Unity, excluding titles like this one and Something Unlimited. Ports like the one done for Camp Pinewood and this games will always be appreciated.

So you're already up to v2.9 and the game version is v3.0? Damn, you are a champion. I love the original, but fuck Unity. Just no.

Thanks a million, my friend.

Really excellent work! This fan-remake really underlines the difference engine choice and overall gameplay flow makes to a title, Ferdafs should just let you take care of the programming aspect and focus on art and text.

Amen. I didn't know I needed this. I couldn't even play the original version with because how shitty it is to play on unity.

The original version was very bugging and lot of time new event just suddenly popping out of nowhere while you still tried to complete the recent one, not just that but many time you really don't know what to do or what kind of item you need to buy for the quest, lot of time you got soft blocked and no way to continue the event without loading the last save before that to happen (which not always you even know), not count on the very long ass scene where you can't even save until it done.... And consider even move to Ren py with a more linear style the playtime from start to finish was estimate around 30 hours, I must say with Unity it would take an entire week or more if you play like 16 hours/day so yes the Unity version was hell

There are a couple scenes that could count as NTR (and I figure better safe than sorry), but technically, the potion segments with "evil(?)" Morty are NTR, as it is not really the main character but an alternate personality getting it on with your girls. Gonna be honest, it was hard to classify some of this games scenes.
What confuses me more is that the niche tags are forced on players. You would think they would want to keep the wide audience and not narrow it down.

Actually this and the Unity game are both at the same content. This is matched with Unity version 3.9b, and while the current release is 3.9mb the only difference between b anb mb are the replay options, which doesn't effect content. The goal is to keep it update to release (with obviously some lag time to implement the updates on my end).

I can't speak to Ferdafs reasons to include which sex stuff. I matched the content of the Unity game for the most part, and while I did change a lot of dialogue, except in a few cases I tried to keep it mostly the same. Partly because there is only so much rework that could be done with the images I have, and partly because I like what was there already for the most part.

I added some stuff not in the original (like twins) because it appealed to me, and maybe the same is true of Ferdafs? Gotta build what you love, it can't just be money that motivates you or you'll burn out. Or it could just be the idea of making the variety larger? Can't please everyone.

I have included skip over options for most scenes (along with just regular fast skip), so hopefully that should help people avoid some what they don't like. If it's incest they don't like, well... I mean, the skip button is don't download :p

(also, I tried to include all relevant tags, both here and in-game, so people know what they are getting into)

Is the bugfix included in the main download?
At the moment the fixes are only in a patch. Sadly I can't fix the main files without reuploading them. While they are crunched smaller, that is still 11GBs of uploads which is an all day battle for me to do.

As the fixes are very minor, I'm going to wait a bit more here and see if anyone stumbles across other bugs I missed before I post new version, only to have someone instantly find a new bug the moment I do.

COMPRESSED PLS?
This is the compressed version. The original is roughly 8GBs. I'm not sure how much smaller it can get, cruncher certainly can't make it smaller, cuze, I mean, it did already.

Future updates are gonna be compatible with the old saves?
I hope so? Honestly I don't really know what breaks renpy saves. As I am matching another game with this one, I might have to put new scenes not at the end of current content (so they make logical sense), that might muck up so saves at the very end. I will do my best.
