great up date great job bringing other beth back

will there be more updates or is game finished

hope not
For now (at least) I still intend to port over new content from Ferdafs. If we keep getting stuff from Ferdafs, I'll keep stuffing that stuff into the stuff. But beyond that, my work on the project is going to drop to pretty much 0. No additional systems or scenes. I'll still make fixes if they come up, and minor additions to new content when(if) it comes out. But, for all intents and purposes, the game is completed in my eyes and I'm not going to give it much time outside of updates.

Several people have asked what I'm working on next, and while I've answered that question (a bunch of times (and I'm sure I'll be asked again)), the answer is: nothing. I have no other projects (on this scale) lined up. I have no interest in making my own game, nor taking on another big project to replace this one. Sorry, just the way it is :/

I'll still be around this thread answering questions (most likely the same few questions again and again...), but my work on the project directly will go down significantly.

This was amazing Night Mirror! Thanks for the Epilogue. I look forward to more content from Ferdafs, I'd be sad not to get anymore content though :) This is one of my favorite games on this website.

If you might still revisit a few minor things in the future, my only small wishes would have been more impregnation dirty talk in the Epilogue. Tricia had said she wanted Morty to keep breeding her, but she's not pregnant and not making any mention of wanting to get pregnant in the Epilogue. Space Beth seems reluctant about the idea. Beth could have had a discussion about looking forward to having more babies with Morty. Wild Summer has a breeding fetish but shows no frustration about not being knocked up yet, unlike Summer. We have no idea where Jessica stands about this.

But hey, I don't mean it as criticism. I had a blast with your version and the Epilogue!

Thanks for the feed back! I very much appreciate any and all constructive input. Criticism or otherwise. The interaction from the forum has been invaluable in making this project the best it can be!

I do agree the dialogue for the epilogue could be improved (and this specific aspect enhanced). Writing the epilogue was a struggle for me, and while I don't have any near future intentions to make revisions to it, that doesn't mean I won't ever revisit it (although, again, not soon).

And, as always, the game scripts are just plain text, feel free to spice up your local copy (I do it for many of the games I play).

Well yes, it seems I had many logic bugs, because I never skipped on impregnation decisions. With Do Over it seems to work properly, but continuing my save only Beth, Summer and Unity were preggo. Tricia didn't even have the baby despite having said in the past that she was pregnant. Thanks for the precision!

hmmm guess i shall do a all-out babymaker playthrough and see if it works. without old saves naturally, because just fully wiped the 'lewd box'. square one, it is.

Hi, the game is awesome but instead of the animations i just have blackscreens with the dialogues. I already checked your faq and tried to change the rendering but still. My webm player does also work with other media so i dont know if im doing something wrong. Would nice if someone can help.

It is most likely some issue on your system, rather than something I can resolve in game with a patch (as I have 1. no way to test the issue, and 2. nothing to change even if I could).

Here is a post that might be helpful, but much beyond that this is an "ask google" sort of issue.

Hi, thanks for the post, it really helped, it seems that my 1 month outdated graphic driver caused the problem. Now it works just fine

will this game be still compatible for windows 10
it's about the Ren'Py version (the core the game runs on). this one is still backward compatible aaall the way back down to Win7, only the newest version of Ren'Py does the cut and requires minimum Win10.
nothing to worry about, until maybe one day Night Mirror decides to upgrade Ren'Py.

As long as you meet the minimum for the Renpy Engine, the game should work fine. For computer users (PC/Linux/Mac) there is no need to upgrade the engine, as the current one has all the features needed for the game (the last engine upgrade let auto play and self voice work together).

Android users may still get engine upgrades for more comparability, at least until next year when google kills side loading.

Of course, Ferdafs also has to put out new content for there to be any more game releases, so this may be the final version anyhow.

probly whatever he's doing is still early early pre-alpha and no planned timeframe.
One of the biggest issues I have with Ferdafs as a dev, is lack of communication. To be fair, it's not just him, lots of devs in this space aren't great at it (and I most likely over communicate...). This lack of communication is the original reason I stopped subing (well, that and I had "bought" the game more than twice over).

Part of the reason people sub to something like a pateron isn't just to get the "product", it's to interact with the dev. To get updates on progress, to have their ideas/issue heard, and to support a person they like the work of.

In Ferdafs case, the communication has dropped off a cliff. Paying sub don't even know if the game is actively being worked on, let alone status on content updates. Posting on twit (assuming it is actually him), a place his subs may not know about (no mention on the pateron page) is... odd.

I'm not looking for hourly reports, not even possible release dates. But I think it isn't too much to ask for some minimal interaction at least once a month, something as simple as "hey, still working on the game, things are going slow, see you all next month!". People are paying at least once a month, I think having something feels warranted imo.

As someone who's followed him since his league of legends game. I don't think he has ever been active communication wise. But at least he hasn't dropped the rick and morty game YET. I don't know if he is planning on finishing it, considering he moved away from league of legends. But his game is free on itch still. So I don't really care about it his reports. I've been red pilled from those thanks to Summertime Saga's "Tech Updates". As long as he actually finishes the game, I'll be happy.
One thing I don't get is, I saw his blender animations on X and I don't understand why he doesn't share those on patreon too.

Don't worry, I have taken it on myself to stay at the 1 dollar tier so you don't have to!

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

To address a few questions from your review:

It's not an easy thing to quantify. 90% of the art and writing in this game is from Ferdafs. I've made edits (lots of them) to both art and words (and as you played in Spanish, I can't say how much has changed again through translation). How much is different from the Unity game? I have no idea. Lots of it.

Hard to say, I don't know how much time Ferdafs works on the game, but I can give you my rough time estimate for how much I've spent on this.

I've been working on this project for 5 years, on average I spend about 20~ hours a week on it. Some quick monkey math says that is 20*52*5 =~ 5000 hours approximately. Which feels about right (I didn't closely track it, some days are 0 hours, and others (mainly during updates) can be the full 24).

Morticia (by far) has the most changes made to her. I made her less meek and more like Morty (really~ more like Mabel from Gravity Falls, if I'm honest). She also has the most "extra" scenes, as I tried to boost her presence from background (which she very much is in the Unity game) to main girl, and I think it worked? She is my favorite both to write and "pose".

At this point, any new stuff (outside the Epilogue (coming soon (tm))) is going to come from Ferdafs. Hopefully we get more.

Yes, I've thought about it a lot. However, finding an artist to work long term on the project just hasn't worked out for me. Here is a much longer post about it. But also, I've finished drawing everything I need for the Epilogue, so I don't need one as much now (again, having one would possibly let me do additional scenes, but also possibly not).

Anyhow, thanks for being awesome!
So it is pretty much finished on your side? It may sound strange but it was a lot fun, sometimes I would laugh my ass off with this, I was hopping for more stuff from the new season, but idk if it's from ferdaffs or your interest to make, either way, nice job!
