I said sometime next month. Or rather I said "in a month" about 10d ago but I forgor about some irl shit early next month. I dont post on patreon because it feels corpo af to write anything there, as if my boss was forcing me to go to HR or something.

I am perma online on disc, and here I check like once every 2 days. I actually write responses, then dont post them. That way you guys will always be in a dark about what I am actually thinking.

You can just see the posts on patreon yourself, last one was in feb. Discord is pretty much just 2 or 3 people shitposting

I get that being a game dev is a lot of work, and appreciate the amount of effort you've put into the message there, but you still haven't given us any update at all in your wall of text.
Not a game update, (like you say, you said sometime next month, and that's fine) but I'm asking for a progress update (or some similar info).

Something like; what art you're currently working on, what bugs are you fixing/having trouble with, how the next level is being built/designed, things that would give us an actual eta on the game. Last time you said anything about that was weeks and weeks ago.

I'm not trying to put pressure on you, but I think people and your fans would appreciate it if you were more transparent with what you're actually working on.

If you keep people in the dark about what you're thinking and what you're doing (like you said in your post), then we'll assume you're not doing anything.

Very interesting, damn it, honestly, there are more free actions and at least repeated scenes (not through the gallery) would brighten up in anticipation of new updates ......

Troubles: How the hell do I make the "game" part of hgame better? The combat sucks. The running is annoying. There is a whole heaps of unnecessary text that slow down the pace a big time. I dont mind the hscenes themselves being kinda longish. At least I think the hscenes are longish. But there are a tons of unintuitive and unfun parts that gotta get changed/ironed out. To be frank I am always faced with a choice of drawing or fixing the game, and I just am unable to chose the later. I wanted the game cycle to be bit like the old Acerolla games, you start a day, you do chores and get rewarded with scenes. But that formula seems not to be hitting its stride in the case of my project.

To be honest, most role-based fights feel outdated (walking, loading, menu fiddling, end, loading, repeat), especially in the RPG Maker engine. Making them better would require a significant investment of resources for little gain. From what I recall from my playthrough months ago: 1. It's a porn game. 2. Mana moves the story forward. 3. Fighting takes a backseat.

The advantage of RPG Maker over other engines is its arrow movement, which simply works. I would suggest a Pacman-style fighting system (similar to this game). It removes the tedious aspects of non-story fights and makes scripting fights easier. Every collision can display an image and lower the mana. When the mana reaches a certain percentage, give the option to harvest the opponent... you can even use special tiles to trigger events or change values. I believe implementing this wouldn't be difficult since it's all within vanilla RPG Maker.

The text is fine as it is. Making it shorter would leave it feeling empty, and making it longer would make it uninteresting. If you're looking for design documents for successful and fun adult games, you might want to check out . He has some great ones available.

I'd make the combat go faster by simply bumping the numbers up. Also a few changes that I think could make it more fun. Let's take the fights agains the fire guy, you could make it so his special attack deals even more damage but it takes 2 turns to cast, giving you the chance to put up am elemental shield, counter , use an item (like magic scrolls so she can use magic she can't cast herself) or maybe have a system where if you deal enough damage you stop him from casting.
Combat against goblins takes too long too, you should be able to fuck them to death in a couple of turns, if you want that to be more engaging I just thought about giving the goblins traits like being into different parts of Rina's body and the way to tell is by looking at their eyes, if they look up they want blowjobs, if they look forward they're into tits and if they look down they want her ass, it should be easy to code and with barely any extra drawing.

As for the writing, personally I don't much care about what's being said outside of sex scenes but I like those to be detailed and you're delivering on that front.

man the combat is so fine its not boring she can do lewd stuff to the enemy, maybe add new type of enemy that could make it more interesting

Some of my favorite hgame combat is in karryns prison so anything taking inspiration from that is usually a-ok in my book. I also really enjoyed the combat in onedge (early stages as it was). So generally any combat where sex is the primary method of resolving conflict is good to me.

In regards to what you have right now, I would personally prefer if the sex actions were more effective and that spells/later spells would aid in that. Let Rina use water magic help lubricate for larger/rougher insertions. Fire magic to make enemies more excited (inner fire kinda thing). Earth magic to immobilize enemies so she can "extract" them easier. Doesn't need to have a visual for all this stuff (as I imagine that is a lot of work), just a paralysis effect, damage buff etc.
