What I'm *hoping* for is a return to the present and Jenny still being gone but a change to how it happened that of course 2019 folks won't know is a change but MC and Darci will. It's a clue that even though the changes they're making aren't substantive, things aren't totally set, and it moves the plot forward to eventually make bigger ones that can eventually save her.I wonder if these revelations made to Jenny will have any temporal repercussions in 2019, though I doubt it. Or maybe they’ll affect what she decides to do with that knowledge, how she’ll act going forward knowing all this.
Jestur's progress updates are about once a month or so. Since the new episode released this month, I wouldn't expect any sort of progress report on the next episode until August.Does anyone know if there's any news of progress on the next update?
There hasn't been anything in over a month. Is this dev on vacation or something? He gave us a crappy update where we're just at a party, with no story progress or anything, and he has the nerve to stop working.
I think the reveal does help Jenny. I suspect that we will meet her older self in a later episode and she reveals to MC that she faked her death so she could aid our future selves ( the ones that are aiding us) combat and expose the deeds that went on in the underground labs (and are probably still going on just elsewhere) and combat the people that are aware of us and the ones trying to steer MC in the past. What I'm *hoping* for is a return to the present and Jenny still being gone but a change to how it happened that of course 2019 folks won't know is a change but MC and Darci will. That doesn't mean that I expect that's what will happen. This isn't my story and I'll sit back and wait for how it gets written. If my idea (and I hardly claim I'm the only person with this take) is close to right I'll pat myself on the back.

There's a pretty large body of evidence that Jenny is Darci's grandmother, Jackie and that the accident didn't kill her, but sent her back in time 20 years to 1989, where she got stuck.I don’t really expect things to have changed drastically with MC’s return in 2019, though a few surprises could still come up. The plot leaves some uncertainty about what can actually be influenced in the flow of time, which remains the main issue. Moreover, Jenny and MC recently had a conversation that touches on themes like free will, fate, and destiny.
Three characters seem to encourage this reflection. Jenny, somewhat resigned, seems prepared to face the fate awaiting her. Luna also accepts the idea of an unavoidable destiny, having a gift that allows her to sense and believe in it. Early on, the masked man mentioned that small adjustments are possible, but fully redirecting the course of events is very difficult. He suggested that time itself resists lasting changes.
It’s probably too early in the story for MC to save Jenny, let alone his father, especially without knowing more about his past. I suspect many mysteries still need to be uncovered about this time travel conflict, its mechanics, rules, and limits. Unknown possibilities may exist, and MC’s role or purpose in all of this remains unclear. Understanding why he is so central to the narrative and crucial to its resolution will be essential.

I played last version without I-patch and can confirm that Tiffany and Jenny are still sisters without the patch. If Jenny were still alive, all we know is that she and her daughter are missing. The theory that Jenny is pretending to be Jackie raises more questions. Why assume a new identity while leading a normal life without taking any precautions? Why sever ties with Tiffany, especially given how close they are? Tiffany and Jenny are also sisters. That said, I’m playing with the multi-mod version that includes the I-patch, so details may vary depending on the version.
Thank you, I wasn't so sure about this detail, and with everything that's going on right now with Steam and the like, I had doubts that it was still the case. ^^I played last version without I-patch and can confirm that Tiffany and Jenny are still sisters without the patch.
I mean since the only iPatch nowadays is the multi-mod I'm guessing so...?Did the iPatch ever change anything except the MC's biological relationships with Tiffany and Jessica (and by extension Jenny)
I think it changes a bit of dialogue, for example when the MC is showing Tiffany pics to Jenny he says something like seeing Tiffany as a mother, I assume that's a bit changed and now I'm curious, how Jenny reacted when she found out she fucked her nephew?Did the iPatch ever change anything except the MC's biological relationships with Tiffany and Jessica (and by extension Jenny)
