The lore dumps are ok. I mean, they are boring, but I know how annoying they can be to write. And I think the writer did a good enough job of integrating them into the story (2,5 apprentice characters in Eleanor, the thiefling and sometimes Catherine herself certainly helps). I would not be complaining if that was the only problem I had. My bigger issue is when 2 paragraph explanations of how a spell is happening break the flow of the combat scenes. Which happens more often that I'd like. IMO and all that

I'm 100% onboard with the lore dumps, I really enjoy how Rise of the White Flowers adapted the standard D&D campaign into its own.

The real reason I'm posting though, is that I can't figure out what's required to unlock the scenes. Does the game look at save files? It doesn't seem to be enough to just go through a scene. I got to the end of the chapter and this is my scene gallery.

Right now the only scenes I unlocked are Elara's, that I intentionally picked as part of my 'real' save, and one that I only picked out of curiosity (the orgy) after initially opting out. But I definitely saw more than these.
The game does track between saves. I've been actually meaning to change these locks for greyed-out thumbs of the actual scenes, much easier for players to figure stuff out like that. In order from the first locked to the last, the scenes you don't have are:

Let me know if you saw any of these scenes in your playthrough so I can check if there's something wrong with the code.

We're doing a little poll on Patreon to help us decide which characters will be getting sex scenes in Chapter 9. It's for patrons only, but if anyone here is interested here is the .

I just noticed something.
The log in my house say's Cat submitted to Kyo but I didn't in this save.
I savescummed to check out the scene but I am very sure that I continued from the save where I denied her.
Should I be concerned about this or..?

I've been playing a lot for the last couple days and really liking it but I just finished getting the ingredients for Kyo's potion quest and Catherine says smething like "This is enough for the first months interests and more" and then immediately after that got enslaved anyway? That seems a bit wrong?

Yeah that's a bit stupid but you probably slept a couple of times while you should'nt had too. You didnt have enough money to pay of your debt. I had the same problem. You have to to back before you went to bed.

I've been slowly chewing through this the last couple weeks and I've really been enjoying it.
the writing is a lot dryer than most porn games, which I honestly really like. And even though the magic jargon can be a bit longwinded at times, I enjoy the atmosphere they set.
lots of typos though, either spelling errors or straight up the wrong word or missing words, so if the writer is watching, make sure to do proofreading!

speaking of which, anyone know if there's a place to report bugs or typos for fixing?

Edit: oh no, I just finished chapter 8 and now I dont know what to do with myself...

But I feel like I'm slowly getting better at catching the bulk of them. When I first started... Man, it was kinda sad really.

People have been saying that a lot lately, it's the talk about magic, its lore and stuff, or just the descriptions of magic being cast?

And the best place to send me bugs and typos would be our server, but you can also send me through DM's.

The lore stuff about magic is relevant to the story but the descriptions of magic being cast tends to be a bit wordy.
I don't mind both of them, in fact i like it. I just hope, and wish, someday in the future you can go back to those previous battles and add some "battle porn" pictures to them. (y) :p

like the others said, descriptions of magic being cast. Not so much the wordiness of it but the repetition, since the tearing of the veil and the channeling of the weave is described *every* time a spell is cast, just about.
But, at the same time, I'm not sure if neglecting that would make the writing better. It adds structure, and it's so darn rare for fantasy systems to remember to follow the rules they've given themselves after long enough.

I gotta make myself perfectly clear though, I absolutely adore this game. So any critiques I'm voicing are done with absolute love.

So what did the latest Android update change to break the game?
Android is going in the way of the iPhone and making it really hard for us to release apps for it outside their store. The game has a problem with the new scoped storage system, it doesn't have permission to save the game and there is no way for me to ask permission without building natively for Android. As mobile is not really our focus, or my competence for that matter, I'm pretty much just waiting for Android and Unity to find a compromise, which hasn't happened yet.
