yes you need a chinese lacale emulator or else the text gets fucked up.

in case you're still wondering, you need to install unifont from the mtool, it's a font that shows you the original chinese charactes instead of the squares, then you need to change the "source language" from japanese to chinese

Thanks for the reply, but I wanted to know if the local emulator that runs Chinese then translates it to English, or if it stays in Chinese. I didn't want to put in the effort if I couldn't read anything at the end result.

Could you upload it somewhere like TeraBox? I want to download this game but I’ve already reached the 1.000 GB limit on Gofile. I don’t know why, I haven’t even used that download site until today '_'

I am currently working on a translation for this game. It is my first translation, and at the rate I'm going I imagine it will be 2 to 3 months minimum. I am using a mix of MTL and manual editing, and there are a lot of map files where the text is stored.

I am uncertain about the rules or etiquette behind posting a translation patch, though I have read the rules for making a translation request thread. Just asking ahead of time so I can keep in mind anything I need to do to be allowed to upload a patch whenever I finally finish making it.

Further note, I lost access to my previous account, unknownphantom77, which I used to post a broad walkthrough for "Carcass", so don't get weirded out by the similar username.

I'm sorry to say but my life has gotten complicated, so I won't be able to do anything on this.
best hope is someone who is more experienced than me sees this game and picks it up.
