I hope I'm not making a mistake by being direct, but honestly, I think trying to soldier through this game is just not a good idea. You made 9(!) posts in this thread, most of which are repeating the list of issues you found with the game over and over and over again. And I can without a doubt say that many of the things that you dislike about the game will remain in the future releases...
I get that you'd like to like the game, and I appreciate it, but there are many other games with far better renders and a story you'd find more compelling and much less frustrating. Just my 2 cents.

Anyway, whats done its done, i dont expect previous "chapters" to be changed much, but i do hope you take the overwhelming feedback you are getting for future releases which would ultimately lead to a better game.

No one is trying to make you start the game over from scratch, just learn into the future.

Basically dial back with the stupid robe man and try to make the MC into an actual MC and make him care for his sister instead os acting as if she was an unknown he read some news about.

Yeap, getting roped into it is pretty much the point. I might down the line make a poll or something if people would like for me to make some fake endings... I personally dislike them, and I believe many don't care about them, but it's still something to think about.
In this particular case, just imagine MC went back home and never had anything to do with Robbin' Hoods.

this game is a fucking masterpiece. that segment about GoT cracked me up big time ( would have preferred to see that instead of how it actually ended tbh ). and the feminist fighting the patriarchy and cis white males . the dev is up to date with all the memes lmao, it was so fucking perfect. I expect some mention of the twitch deer girl in the next update.

I might be in the minority, but I don't care, I like the storyteller, I like his pompous behaviour.
It's clearly meant as humorous, which is seen through the reactions of the so far unseen women reacting to it and it's fun, it shows the game AND the MC don't take themselves too serious.

I know there'll always be people who will find issue with something like this, or think it's a lame plot device, but honestly, I think this is really a case of either you like it or don't and if you don't this might just not be the game for you.

I dunno why, maybe because they are better wish-fulfilment or because they offer several sex scenes (which come about completely unrealistic) per update, or maybe because all the women dress like hookers and have giant tits (nothing wrong with either, but I prefer it like here, with different body and character types and where characters wear clothing that actually fit with their character and not just looks sexy).

It's not haha-funny, it's strange-funny, as in I don't get it.

let me get this straight: people think THIS game has a "weak plot", when the most popular and praised games on this site are in majority different skins of the "guy moves in with his family and start seducing/fucking every inhabitant" narrative ? how do those boring ass games have a "strong plot" in their eyes ?

Don't ask me. Like I wrote I don't get it myself.

Mind you, I'm not saying you shouldn't criticize Robbin' Hoods, constructive criticism is a good thing, I'm just saying I'm surprised about the relatively large amount of criticism here, compared to the threads full of nothing but adulation for many weaker games.
I'm not naming any, because I don't want to diss other games here, but it's not like this is a one time occurrence either.

First of, thanks for the support, guys!
If I may, and anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but the story and developed characters are supposed to be this game's main selling points, so it might be the case of any issues with the writing standing out more when compared to the norm.
That is of course based on my very limited experience... I might be completely off target, so if someone else could chime in that'd be great.

Suddenly read Robbin Hoods was released version 0.6d. I was thrilled but at the same time "wow, how the hell did I miss 3 other chapters". Click on the thread: "mmm what the fuck is this? where is the cute sister, the hot doctor, the sexy thief?" Reread the title. "Damn you Ayhsel, you misread again, this is not Robbin Hoods. You really need to pay more attention, you myopic freak. This is Rocking Robbin (never heard it before)"

So here I am, with my novel reading heart broken, waiting for a new release.

Apparently you havent read anything i posted.

Anyway, i am sure the Dev will eventually realize the mistakes the game has, with the good renders it has, there is a reason why he has $31 per month on his patreon, and a big part of that reason is the storyteller and the awfull, completely awfull MC writing.

Either he doesnt care about his sister or he does, the Dev should pick one and write accordingly, which hasnt happened (havent played the current update yet) and keeps being inconsistent across the game. I am fine with any of them (caring or not caring), as long as its consistent.

The Dev seems to be writing around the MC caring (at least thats what the dialogs say) so the whole "staying around in the house without doing anything" doesnt fit, and screws the whole story
