Honestly it is one of the most beautiful porn games in circulation, for this not wanting to lose even an image, it would be nice to be able to take advantage of a detailed walkthrough, which would help a lot especially those who, like me, are not native English speakers.

yup, a walkthrough would be very helpful. because of many choices in this game.

for the walkthrough you have to choose the $ 25 option ... should it not be available even the $ 5 patreon since they also buy the game?
Maybe you are right. I have been trying to be fair with the rewards since I opened Patreon. I think I will drop the walkthrough down to $10 patreons and move the 3 days early to the $25 and not do the week early stuff until I get way more Patreons. What else should I give the $5? Does anyone have any ideas on how I should partition the Patreon rewards?

I loved your game. it is original and every character has not only unique personality but great motivations and "shaping" events. Its clear you put a lot of thought and effort into every aspect of game. Sure the writing is a little rough in places but not enough to be critical. I sometimes a little lost if a harem game or romance game but considering he grew up with an addict whore before he had two moms then a Poly family that actually fits perfectly. The creation of VN mode for those that liked your work but hated sand boxing shows great initiative.
My only criticism is you trying to much with MC personality, he has 4 aspects at moment 1)The abandoned child of drug addict 2)The loyal family man that puts family before everything 3) The Naive virgin 4) the rich brat blowing money having fun and blowing cash until bankrupt. Unfortunately the 4th clashes badly with rest, how could he be a virgin if he driving around in expensive cars and throwing cash around, there is no way he not have been spotted by a gold digger or 6. He was caring of family even at youngest even his real mother. Robin even says reason she fell for him is he grew up poor and never had the rich kid vibe. I just don't see this fitting with the rich selfish brat oblivious to families problems. I would remove the rich brat party boy aspect totally and instead replace with university distracted by study but motivated by replacing father supporting family with mother still concealing worst of it. His family commitment alone is enough to drive him with guilt anyway so really is no need for the rich party brat personality.

Really hope I not offending as really like what you doing and how you listen to feedback.
I read this a lot. Its good inspiration for me. I wish I had a thousand more people like you.

I can't get it to download but I would like to so I can code against it. I really like making the game. I thinking of migrating it to Unity though because Renpy does not protect the script. Anyone can edit it easily.
While I understand this, you would be wasting your time, people always find a way, and it would be a disservice to current patrons, because you would be doing that instead of creating new content, and the whole move to unity 1. would be aids. 2. would hurt the game. unless you are doing real-time rendering you should pretty much never use unity. renp'y is designed for visual novel type games.

Imo devs should be like cdprojekt red, you don't need to worry about piracy if you make a good game. which so far I believe you have (only just starting playing it). So keep up the good work and you have nothing to worry about. who cares if a few people wanna skip the patreon wall, if someone really likes your game and wants to see it through, they will send some $$ your way. there is a reason games like summertime saga (old one but still valid) get so much money even though they are completely free (and i mean completely, afaik there is nothing in that game locked behind patreon).

So do yourself a favour and don't worry about it, will only cause yourself pain and distress, and isn't worth it. if you put the hard-work and passion in, money will come. Focus on creating loyal fans/followers, and they will buy almost anything, those are the people you want to focus on, not stopping the ones who don't (sometimes can't, people be poor) pay the $1. They ain't worth your time.

Just my 2 cents. O and to provide a proof of story for this, I pirated subnautica, played it for like 30-40+ hours, stopped playing, deleted it and bought it on steam, had the game not of been uploaded to the site I found it on, I would never have bought the game (wasn't interested in it, but when I looked at it on the "yarr" site and viewed some screens decided to give it a go). And I have heard many times of people doing this, hell some people only pirate to see if a game is worth buying. So I do believe if you make a game worth paying for (which you are) people will put money on it.

You have 35 patrons as of me writing this, those are the people that matter, not some guy posting a how to in the thread. And honestly I am surprised you don't have more. I think your problem might be a publicity thing, I myself have taken quite a while to play this game because there are so many. So I am going to give you what I think would be helpful tips.
Tips:

Create or get someone to create some signatures, the images below me. (there are plenty of people on this site that would be happy to help for nothing in return, hell I think there is a thread for requesting them)

Discord (if you don't have one) have public and patreon channels. some people lock the whole discord behind patreon, I think this is silly, if you get them there, they will constantly see the things they don't have access to and are more likely to pay because they want access.

DON'T change the current main photo for this thread, it is a great photo, and is the reason I have been wanting to play this game.

Be more active (creating your own discord is also a part of this, but deserved its own point). On f95discord, talk with other mods, be a bit more known, get to know the people playing your game. etc. (only if you have the time), GuassianFracture did this with simply talking about a game they are working on and their discord has over 3500 members, granted none of them are actually paying for anything, but Guass doesn't actually have any way to be paid, however many have expressed desire to donate, now if they could, I would wager less than 10% of those members would actually donate anything, but some might share your game to someone who would.

A benefit of talking with other likeminded devs, is that they can often be willing o put a shoutout of some sort to your game in theirs, (and in return you should do the same) this can be from a 'movie that comes on' an app of 'friends' on a phone, etc.

Do interviews with people who cover this type of thing, or request them. there are people who get paid to cover porn games, take advantage of that. Guass who I mentioned above recently did an interview with MrXBash, you could hit them up, here is their twitter:

Talk to the f95zone team about having your game on the homepag scroll banner (no idea how games get there myself, you might have to pay for it)

Prioritise thoughs who are loyal, don't bother the people who 'might' play your game, bother with those who do, there is nothing people hate more than a dev who is rude to players (unless said player deserves it). There be a reason devs like slonique are dilsiked (besides not keeping their word or properly finishing a game and starting another one ditching the previous, the also defend their actions and trash those who call them out, and yes as you may infer if you read my signature I am one of those people XD )

And if you are feeling uninspired, talk to your fans who inspire you to keep going, don't go to this thread or other places where there are those who demotivate you (which is why you should create a place for fans who want to inspire you to go besides patreon, I get more into this further down)

Devblog, this is something other devs and people who teach how to be a dev hammer into others, it helps build publicity and excitement (this can be done through some of the suggest things in the wall of text below)

Link everything/where people can follow you (as in the Robery you not the you you, you should keep your privacy :p ), so things like newgrounds, hentaifoundry, discord invite, a robery twitter account, anything you might have. Don't go out of your way to create them though. If you have none then create at least one for people to interact with you, while f95zone and patreon can do this, they should be the primary for to do so. If you want to notify people who enjoy and play you game, you should do so in something like discord, not everyone regularly checks patreon or this thread, so create a way they can do so with something they would use everyday (like discord).

And that is about all for know. You probably know a lot of this already, thought I would mention them just in case.
Whatever you do though, don't do anything that takes away from you wanting to make this game (trying to stop people from getting around paywalls can do this because it is very demotivating), if you keep working on it and enjoying what you make, people will notice, maybe not as quickly if you were more vocal online about what you do, but they will notice, and this will compound, just make sure they can follow you somehow (patreon is for donating not following imo).
Sorry for the wall of text, hope you got something useful out of reading this.

read this after typing the wall of text. My opinion, I think you should have things where they will be when you do have many patreons, it is best to do things as if you did, and not wait for it. so if the walkthrough should be on $5 in your mind, then put it there. the main incetive to do $10 should be to support you, not the rewards.

Think of the rewards as less of rewards but bonus' and don't worry about having a reward tier that gives nothing right now (you might not be able to provide what you want that tier to have currently lets say) then by all means have nothing and just a statement like "I truly appreciate your contribution, however there are no rewards at this time for this tier, and is currently only for generous people like you." (pamper them up a bit) if it is a higher tier make sure you still add that they get all previous tier rewards though.

Got this type of idea from a bit of advice I heard from Dan Pena (the 50 billion dollar man), which is to try and live as if you already have the life you wanted (within reason, don't spend money you don't have). e.g. want a lambo? visit the lambo dealer regularly and imagine that the one you want is yours. the way this applies is sort your patreon out now as if it does have a lot of patrons. the logic behind it is that organising this as if they are already working well and the way the should, helps them work well and the way they should.

These are a lot of great ideas here and some would definitely make dev life a lot easier. Give me some time to digest this and I’ll get beck to you. Thank you for taking the time out to help. One quick thought that just came to mind... Since the game was leaked this time I was thinking about only giving the 25 dollar people the game early and putting a timeframe on the code for everyone else including the public. Like if you are not a Patreon you get the Patreon code two weeks after the release. I agree that it will just be a better mod sooner or later and that locks are really just for honest people.

I do want everyone to enjoy the game and it is much much better with the code. Plus, it will keep people coming back and playing during down times like this where I am developing more content.

An interesting Idea. On the whole leak thing, that is what this website does, so i wouldn't worry about it too much. however the whole timed thing on the patreon code could be a good thing, because it could actually sway some people to look down on those who try to cheat their way around it if it is timed (especially if the time limit isn't that long). think of it as ethical pirating, where you only pirate things that people can't get without paying, not the things people can. Although the real question is: is it worth the effort? if it is something simple to do then sure, if not I wouldn't bother, what you could do instead is just have a comment on the Original thread post that says Code: * date the code releases to public *.

I assumed as much, and when I was saying thinks like if you want people to this or that. they are rhetorical (more along the lines of something to think about then to answer).

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Then post the code on the Patreon page that day to the public

IMO the walkthrough does not have to be an extra bonus but an incentive to get the next step. according to me allowing to have the walkthrough for $ 5 many patreons could be interested in switching to $ 10 to get more or exclusive content (for example wallpapers or images out of the game / personalized). if instead the patreons at $ 5 will find it difficult to proceed in the game, they will see the transition to the $ 10 as something you are obliged to do, so you will get that there will be more patreons that will cancel their pledge than those that will pass to the next steps.
P.S. many DEV release the free walkthrough
also I tell you from personal experience, as I am not native English speakers, the walkthrough attracts many users of other languages, as with a walkthrough they can safely unlock all parts of the game and being able to do this they seriously consider becoming patreon

Quite liking the game so far! I was wondering about the Carla and Tikkoya scenes as I seem to be unable to unlock the rest of them (I've unlocked everything else for all the other characters).

This guide was in page 19 made by Xenix22

Robin's - Move Left - Move Left - its on a windowsill

Aunts House - Go To Pool - On the pool ledge below the pillow of the sofa thing that you hide behind while the Aunt gets herself off.

Your Car - On top of the Mailbox (below the numbered sign) on the house

Jason's Building Outside - On the window sill above the red door.

Lana's - Move Forward - Move Right - On the ground at the corner of the fence of the property.

Your Old House - Click the mailbox

Motel - Go Inside - Go Right - Bottom of the brochures on the table.

Motel - Go Left - Below the light and above the door of the right most room.

Storage - Go Right - Go Right - Go Right - The corner where the wall meets the storage units. There is a sign with a 6 (or a lock) on it right above that.

Storage - Inside the truck after you have found the flashlight (by going all the way left and chasing the people)

Party Shop - Go Right to the Laundromat - Above the One Way sign on the lamp post
i followed this + the picture from the repair shop and i'm still missing one picture. where can I find the last one? or is it not in the game version yet?

Edit: Solved turns out I miss 1 from the guide :D
