Porn has always been an outlet. In western society, since the sexual revolution (60's-70's), the human body and the sexual act itself have become less and less a taboo. Today, unless they live in a peculiar environment, westerner willing to check out normal girls just have to get in a public place - especially in summer if you catch my drift. And if they want things to get intimate, there is a whole dating scene where normal girls and guys can and do hook up as long as they're game.
So yes, in this day and age, regular porn won't bother showing normal people having normal sex. Because it has become casual to experiment it, there is hardly any excitment in watching it (leaving the peeping fetish aside). If you absolutely want to watch regular people fucking, you may turn to the "amateur" category but for most of the audience (and I include myself in this tier), it doesn't cut it. So yes, I want to see women unlike those I meet in the streets doing things I wouldn't consider doing with/to my partner when I'm watching porn: outrageous, exxagerated visions of feminity and sex.
