Fine I guess its my turn Oni said it will be in the next few weeks but that really means next month at best would not hold my breath over this
i guess im missing the joke of this. more than likely someone is going to say "use the search feature" the search feature is trash yes im going to say it its a dumpster fire of a system. MAYBE the mods should pin the comment to the TOP of the thread so people who just wanna know when the update is expected doesnt have to sift through 150-250 pages of toxic troll comments but hey thats just how id do it.

It's more to the idea that this question gets asked very very regularly in threads like these, and the answer is always the same. Asking it over and over again is annoying to many of those that participate normally as, not only is it stale, but also demonstrates an inability (or unwillingness) to participate in the thread or community and only superficially make requests without giving anything back.

It's generally frowned upon, and while it's not uncommon or unexpected, it's just commonly considered to be not very good etiquette. Besides that, Oni (like many indy game developers that work through patreon) is not super reliable when it comes to sticking to specific dates. He tends to give generalities in expected release schedules, and with the information he gives being of a very "soft" nature, it doesn't do much good to pin up a message that tracks an ETA so general that even the person giving it cannot name it beyond "A few weeks, maybe more". You could honestly just pin a post that says "ETA is a few weeks, maybe more." and leave it pinned for every release, and it would remain accurate. The truth is that it will come out when Oni says it's ready, and who knows when that will be.

Finally as for "how you'd do it", no that's not how you'd do it. You wouldn't do it at all. That's why you're here being a choosing beggar instead of posting something useful or trying to participate meaningfully in the community.

right because you totally know what would do to make the post a little more streamline than it is. you know me oh so well dont you? and as for being a choosing begger um no my guy i barely if ever post on these threads and for good reason i mean look how toxic you all are being for simply asking if oni keeps a progress bar or expected release date on his patreon ICSTOR's Milfy City would be a good example of a % of completion on his patreon page that isnt locked behind a pay wall, but i do agree they rarely keep to their own schedules.. the part about me contributing nothing is blatantly wrong the suggestion to pin the comment to the first page would stop majority of the repeated comments. thats on Oni or the Moderators to do seeing as its his thread. anyways i feel like beating my dick would be a more beneficial use of my time than talking to anyone on this site so later douche bags

This is a highly controversial statement. Anyone who is able to read his patreon (release dates of releases and bug fixes) and think will be able to easily determine the approximate release date. Ony is one of the few developers who has had the same release scheme for many years.
The main problem is that this topic has long since answered all the questions about the release of new versions and about Ony's work, and about payments, and all other questions (including all the absurds ones) that can be asked. Those who know how to read not only their posts, use the search by topic, and also in some cases have the ability to count (at least at the level of primary school) are able to understand this.

This reply honestly makes you sound like such a douchebag, and the "community" you represent look bad lol. Most normal functioning members of society don't have time to puruse random hentai game forums on a daily basis. Furthermore, acting elitist because someone isn't 100% up to date on a hentai game's progress when you are is a borderline laughable & depressing notion.

There's nothing wrong with being into a game like this or being caught up on it, but the expectation that everyone else on these forums should be, or should have to sift through dozens upon dozens of pages just to find a simple answer to a simple question is utterly absurd. I get that repetetive posts can be annoying, but honestly that's never going to change. So get over it and be helpful/answer the question, or move on. It's a normal question for any developing game's page.

Who cares? Story in porn games is pointless, expecting more is just asking for either disappointment or pain.
I'd argue adding more to dates, relationships via text even going deeper somehow would be fine. Nothing wrong with the sex game being simple, if you want more it could be added but don't expect the sun & moon.
I ain't saying lower whatever standard you have but come on don't get upset when you can enjoy what you're given.
Edit: I ain't a fanboy, I ain't supporting the idea of getting nothing. While I support Oni it's merely a dollar, I really don't care. Fan boy-ism is really bad, never liked it ever.
"Story in porn games are pointless" Monster girl quest would like to have a cup of tea with you

You'll note that I didn't go after the guys asking questions. I went after the guy who went after the moderation team, saying that he'd do a better job, make a better site, etc. while whining about a free service.

The real question for me is, will the mod be updated before the game. I know the mod is long off but at the rate that oni works, i wouldn't bet against it. Also funny that they are working on more art assets than the actual artist.

Imagine getting another new character in storm before oni comes along and fully implements jean.

Anyhow, this has got to be one of the better threads on this site. Just for entertainment purposes.

Oni has to do everything from coding to art. Mod developers take an already made game and supplement it. When there is already a ready-made base, it will not be difficult to make more accessories, etc.
In addition, the quality of work Oni still surpasses what the authors of the mod do. And some errors in the version of the mod, the authors of the mod cannot fix for years.
You can also compare the work of Oni with the work of some of the authors of the mod, who also took the Oni game as a basis and decided to make a separate game.

Using this game as an example, you can see how the developers of the mod are able to work independently (without using updates from Oni)...

You're right. An expectation to dig through hundreds of posts is unreasonable.

But the "When's the next update?" question appears every couple of pages - even at 20 per page.

I don't think it's at all unreasonable to assume a person would check the last couple of pages to see if a question has been asked and answered.

You fiend! May Xavier drive over your foot when disrupting your next booty call!

*grmbl* .. and for a second I was actually hopeful like a bloody rookie. As if Oni himself had any idea about the release date yet, ha! Also people who squint at their screen look stupid.
