  • vsf is the uk's biggest offline venue, mk1 was deemed so irrelevant by sponsors and organizers alike it wasn't even included, other games got the main stage, mk1 was given a small office on the second floor because 2 uk streamers took it on themselves, they provided the consoles, the games, handled invites and registration and while people on the ground floor were packed into rooms and competing for cash what did the biggest European ( geography wise) venue offer? the streamers running it put up some of their own memorabilia so the whopping 51 player turnout competed for scoprion funko pops worth about 8 USD

Calling one fighting franchise dead and using mk as an exmaple of one that isn't makes no sense, tekken 7 is over 8 years old and mk1 has lower numbers than that nevermind comparing to tekken 8. mortal kombat sold well, the franchise title ensures that, but 1 died faster than any fighting game ever, nobody is playing in either casual or competitive spheres and nobody is watching. Hell the game is so bad that people like r1psarena who did so well with mk11 they quit office jobs to stream are considering returning to office work, people like deoxys and titanium quit streaming all together and f0xygrampa who competed in every nrs game tournament for the past 15 years did not compete in mk1 and is so bored of mk1 that since release he has started streaming tekken, sf, elden ring, prince of persia, def jam, anything but mk1

Who the fuck is playing fighting games online?
That sounds like those no lifes who plays Call of Duty or other shooters wearing a headset.

The only acceptable co-op is on couch when you can punch eachother between rounds and shittalk.
Other than that, single player. Online doesn't matter, what matters those are known ip's that everyone loves and recognizes, not some uggo game with a shitty squirrel character people want Doreen to cosplay.

Kitty literally looks like she does in X-men evolution, and Emma is comic accurate, maybe you shouldnt be playing stuff related to comics then if they arent "realistic standards".

Prime mentioned that he won't update untile all new girls are done. Now the question is does he think new girls are complete with this update, or will he wait till all girls get their 69 pose. I don't know.

Can't speak for him, but usually the updates around the poll are the "final" new girl/pose ones and then it goes on hiatus.
