You will assume the role of an IT Guy employed by the American Ministry of Defence, who is on the verge of being terminated.
However, you come across a solution and use it to avoid the situation,
ending up at the gates of the Roman Empire in 31 BC, commonly referred to as "Ab urbe condita 732".

Thanks, interesting so far.

A very small typo maybe, in your Workshop under Gather Materials it says Metall but otherwise refers to Metal in the collected material. While I see metall is used in post medieval Latin I am unsure if this is the intention here or not

Also one model in the Roman period has glasses Alexandra and this is a bit anachronistic, unsure if this is intentional or just the model you wanted

Interesting concept. Roman times are certainly an interesting subject. Post Julius, but pre Marcus Aurelius is a bold choice. Some UI inspiration from The Company, but that's hardly a slight against it. As for anachronistic elements...... sure, but rather a good story, with good flow, than 100% historical accuracy. It's not marked as documentary, so here Cleo could be black..... Wish you good luck, on this and the Game of Boobs game. One I also was interested in.

Interesting concept, i'm always in for these kind of hypno/mc games. I saw some typo and grammar errors, probably English is not your first language (isn't mine either, i understand), probably is too soon for thinking about that but at a certain point i think you will want to make someone review the writings and fix those up. I hope to see an update with new content soon anyway.

PS: I really hope to see a great variety of content like we have in The Company. I think this game have potential, i'm curious to see where you will take it.

Based on the screenshots it doesn't seem like OP is sticking to sandals-and-toga stuff. Which means he's pretty much guaranteeing that every single image will look nothing like the accompanying text.

As a friend of a Romaboo (and a viewer of Dovahatty, Spectrum, Historia Civilis and Romaboo Ramblings), I can say this.

The year 31 BC. The battle of Actium is ongoing. By this time, Octavian is still sitting near Actium, surveying whether Antony would strike his army first. He would be nervously looking both at Antony's army and the sea, where is friend, Agrippa, is amassing his fleet against Cleopatra.

If the story is after Actium, it doesn't get any better. Octavian is directly sailing to Alexandria to start the siege over there. It lasted all the way to late 30 BC. So I'm pretty skeptical of the timeframe, considering this is the last thing he would be doing.

The chapter title 'Capitulum' inferring to Rome, despite being a terminology for a bone and there's no real latin word for capital, with capitālis being the closest thing you have. And the above lines shows that Octavian being in Rome is impossible.

If the story is taking place in Alexandria, where he is busy sieging the city in late 31 BC, then it's pretty arbitrary that Octavian would need his help in the war. As far as he is, the war is going pretty well, with Agrippa strolling practically unopposed in the Levant and the fall of Alexandria is inevitable. It would be more sensible to ask him to make alchemy against his enemies in general (maybe Germany) and not to a man who is basically only cities away from falling apart, or to improve civilian way of life since ancient diseases are common with limited medical technology at hand. Sure, they may have Greek medical text from Hippocrates much clearly, but that's simply not enough for ancient Rome's woes with plagues.

TLDR, pick a better timeframe, maybe during the Germanic campaigns or after Antony's fall. HC's videos have already covered every detail during the Octavian-Antony wars and neither men are wasting their time sitting on a chair.

what am i missing here? i have researched and built the crossbow with a half day to spare where am i supposed to pick this up so i can present it to octavius. I have talked to all of the others in the reseach facility. Can anybody clue me in?

A few points:
- Patreon does not allow "real porn" games (those that use video clips from other copyrighted sources). The way other developers get around this is to use placeholders in their official distribution and then "some mysterious person" makes media packs available for download.
- Similarly, explicit "sister" content is disallowed by Patreon standards and terms of service. Your account will be cut off unless you follow their rules.
- I am highly amused to see a genuine "Romaboo" appear in the thread raising such vital historical objections.

The idea itself is interesting and hopefully provides a good story environment for a "
