Yeah censorship is beyond excessive. Tried it once and I'm done. If this is the level of content we can expect going forward I've seen better quality shit on the toilet paper after I wiped my ass. Daniels K had some decent quality games once upon a time but this is a clear sign he's done. Patreon having Uncensored is nice and all but I'll support someone for their quality and creativity. I will never support their greed.

So... anything resembling a sex scene is just a black screen telling you to become a patron. Developer obviously uploaded it here themselves as a teaser to get patrons.

There is nothing about what's been uploaded that's worth downloading and playing.

The plot isn't a terrible idea, even if the writing is very ham handed.

Waste your time if you like, the story's almost enough to be a fun time by itself, but the "This is the censored version of Rosewater Manor available to everyone, to access the uncensored version consider becoming a patron at : " in place of every image of sexy times gets irksome fast.

1 star and not more, as in this censored version ALL lewd scenes (which are basicially the only reason to play at all) are cut out.
So there is no reason left to play this "demo" at all.
Patreons don't need F95 to play - and all over here have no reason to play a game where all important scenes are blacked out.

Liked Dusklight Manor and NBP for the girls, even if the writing was half the time cringy. Hated that, after engaging with every girl, the player got forced to choose one girl and see a more than disappointing ending (and that for every girl!). Seeing, that he now tries to "ensure" that his patrons are of legal age by making a censored version for free and uncesored paid one, sorry, but that should not his main goal. This is just a plain dumb excuse to force more people to support him at least on the lowest level, if they want the uncesored version. Probably he won't even read the comments that are here on, but let me write it nonetheless:
STOP THIS BS! You won't archive anything other than just opposite from what you want, less people will be willing to support you! And stop this lazy BS endings! IF you write your game like a harem game, where you're able to pursue one or more girls, then give the people what they want: satisfying endings including one harem ending! You got enough hate in the past for your laziness, learn from it. Until you stop your BS and laziness, I, for one, will never be willing to support you, especially as long as you make this censoring BS!

He is indeed one of the most prolific devs around, that's why he has more than 1000 patrons right now.
But he's giving a poor ass excuse to keep the uncesored version behind the paywall.

We gonna pretend that anyone would ever want to play one of his games without the porn? It's not one of those games that serves well enough without the adult content and adds an optional 18+ patch down the road. It's one of those games that is completely and absolutely nothing without the porn. Imagine playing any one of his previous games without the adult content. Yeah, that sounds awful, doesn't it?

His excuse for using Patreon as age verification falls flat as soon as you realize that the guy doesn't offer anything but his completely censored public versions to anyone under $10 a month.

Consistency is one thing, a good enough plot to keep you interested without porn? I don't think so and im not the only on this boat, i would say that more than 90% of people that play his games would say so, as for patreon numbers is not saying much since a lot of people usually forget wich patreon they are even signed on specially when its just a couple of dollars.

There's developers who have uncensored demo versions and it's still up. Like Summertime Saga, for example. I'm not sure why Daniels K would try to make it sound like it's Patreon's fault when it's actually fairly easy to verify it. So I logged into Patreon and checked my account's T.O.S and since the last update several months ago, there have been no changes. I re-read it and there is absolutely nothing that requires uncensored games on public links. Also, there is an adult content warning on the landing page and you can't find it unless you type his name in the search bar. When it brings you to the page, there's an adult content warning. Same as it's always been for the last 2 years.
With just a few minutes of checking the Patreon T.O.S, I'm positive that his comment blaming the censoring of the public link on Patreon is complete and utter bullshit. If I was a supporter of this guy, I'd be asking for proof that Patreon requires the "public version or link" to be censored. If you are a patron of his, you need to let the other patrons know that it's HIS rule, not Patreon's. If you do make that comment, I bet you that it will be deleted by him. If any patron is brave enough to attempt telling the truth, let us know how it goes!
