I don't know how anyone would find any of this funny. The dialect, historical obscurities, references, and the impossible test just makes the game pure torture. I downloaded it because some people said it was hilarious, but there's not a single joke I can fathom here. Nor is the intro dream comprehensible. I could have given it a poor rating, but I simply don't think it's worth a single star.

Maybe it's my "western" "American" upbringing, but the women are not pretty in the slightest, the characters smoking just makes me queasy, and the writing is atrocious.

I'm passing and won't be trying a second round of masochistic nonsense as this.

SPECIFICALLY: The odd opener is weird poetry of some sort. The test asks questions about classical music, Russian history, Greek myths, and other things that are NOT taught in any part of the American Education System, or at least not in Public School. Roman and Greek mythology is given a minor brief overview. World History is something most Americans forget the moment they finish the final exam for that course, and of course, in the US, it is focussed on US interests, with almost NOTHING relating to Russia or Greece after the fall of the Roman Empire. It skips to WW2 and Watergate, then Clinton and stops...

The english version needs a proper translation though and all the hiding of genitalia during the lewd scenes had me pissed but this last part is just me and since this is a V1 of the VN, not really a big deal.

Will keep a close look on this one, good luck Dev, this has potential.

Looking at the images it appears that there is another render with Olga wearing the tunic AND stockings.
Have tried various things without success to get that stocking image to appear in the game?

Not a code reader, and the console commands under variables is a very small list. Anybody know more?

One can use google to make up for shortcomings of the American Education System that I have to admit is rather a poor one.
Models in this game are different, IMO a good thing. Not all models have to resemble US porn stars

Exactly what I was thinking. Dev seems to be a fan of French movies (the Emanuelle franchise was French although Sylvia Kristel was Dutch). I saw a portrait of a young Alain Delon somewhere.

I think some of the foreign movies(especially French and Italian where communists were prominent and well funded by KGB) were shown in soviet cinemas and on TV, soviet people knew about movie stars. Also the Emanuelle films were like the only erotic/porn content available and you could earn some money by illegally selling tickets to these screenings

Very promising start - love the story - like the girls - classical theme is extra.

On thing I spotted - after the Tunic Test the MC is talking to Olga and she is seated on a sort of settee.
Then there is a render where she is wearing the tunic.

It is an expanded size render you can move around, and there is a text line right at the bottom of the frame:
"What else can you find?"

I understand, nowadays everyone leads a healthy lifestyle , but before this issue was not so acute. After all, this is the '80s. A lot of women smoked back then.
You could have asked to draw a Churchill without a cigar or Sherlock Holmes without a smoking pipe!

It would be good to make a dev-note or something in the OP and/or in the game itself, stating that mc-name is fixed and shouldnt be changed (though there are always works around) due to story-importance as such.
Otherwise there will be similar requests every now and then (though those will be regardless most probably).
