I've just beat chapter 2 and man, I hate the Long Sword. Not because it's bad, no. Because it's OP. And the Holy Sword is just way too good. I wanted to main Scythes because the gimmick with them not working in close range fun but the sword just completely outclass them to the point that the range doesn't matter. And I haven't even gotten any good scythe drops except the Mantis from the first chest in the game somehow.

Also, some other people seem to not know what it does so, I'll ask now. Is the Grotesque Idol used for anything obvious or is there something specific I have to do to use it? Tell me if there's just an obvious use for it in an upcoming bit of the game.

Yeah you clearly haven't got the really stupid scythes, the Blood Scythes or Reaper's Great Scythes, giving you life leech, and being scythe yeah high range, then add a bone needle as secondary weapon for the sole purpose of the speedboost, and litterally NOTHING can kill you anything that might hit you you will gain the health back in 1-2 hits and since scythes have the high range on their own you dont need to use your secondary weapon to shoot anyway. This is not just OP, it completely trivializes the game

its a mix of roguelike, roguelite, and you get porn only if you lose (and thus losing progress). not the best idea for a hgame.
also, a bomb+10 can carry you through all of it

The latest review would've been great and all aside from the fact that you CAN get every defeat scene w/o intentionally losing and that's literally just beating the bosses...

Didn't see this here, just so nobody has to go through the same pain. There are 12 pics, couldn't find the last (via "datamine", if you could call loading the www folder into sublime text would qualify as such). Couldn't rule out either horrid data struc, deliberate design or just a stupid bug (of which there are plenty, yuck).

Edit: Last one is Chakram. No special text. Sigh, what a mess of a game.

Because it is doing action combat in an engine meant for turn based combat, that is gonna require a lot more of your hardware, than if it had been made in an engine that can do it natively.

Like I said, bad optimizations from the dev.
Least it's still playable for a toaster user like me.
