What's the deal with the whole incest thing? I know that the incest mod is a mod and all, but the base game doesn't make much sense without it. Like, all five characters are well acquainted with each other, talk about the past as if they lived in the same house... a single-family suburban house according to the artwork, and the four of them are visibly related (they share hair and eye colours), but they only refer to each other as 'friends'. Does the game ever explain this, did I miss something?

In order for the developer to be supported on Patreon, there must be no incest in the game, not even between step-relations. Any mods to change that relationship, no matter how obvious, must officially be the work of a third party modder who is doing so without the support of the developer. Plausible deniability at the very least.
That reminds me of how the "Swap Family" porn series does it. They are all supposedly in a reality show where four people from four different families are put in a household (while their three family members are similarly shuffled into other combinations). Eye-rolling, but it allows them to have threesomes and foursomes without there being blood relations involved.
That makes a lot of sense. I knew about the restrictions on Patreon, but I just didn't connect the two for some reason. Thanks.

here is my unofficial android port of S.h.e.l.t.e.r. - An Apocalyptic Tale v0.33.
from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11
), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Patreon shoots itself in the foot. Especially considering that sex between stepsiblings and even cousins is actually NOT classified as incest neither in the US nor in any other Western civilization.
I'm having some real issue. For some reason I can't get Angela, Melissa, OR kira pregnant anymore, I can get the others pregnant no issue, but not them no matter how long I wait.
