Im looking forward to seeing were this goes, you said Inventory system. most VNs are just scroll scroll scroll threw loads of text and then boobs, lots of wonderful boobies. They lack any real Game elements why i think there should be tags for VN and VN that are actually a game and not just a story.

not that VN are bad or anything just i can search images of porn and see those a lot faster, so i come here for boobs and a game.

In the 2nd and 3rd last sample pic, is it because the text is not loaded finish when he/she took the screenshot or maybe they need to fix the wordwrap for some part in the game?

Trying to actually read any of the ("English")text is super annoying. The text shows up in russian, then about a second later changes to "English" (MTL). The same holds true for all choices. Given that there is a lot of text, everything is constantly slowed down to a crawl- super frustrating and not at all worth the time. Liked the idea, liked the art, but can't play this.

For now, this game is unplayable for me. It is frustrating waiting for the Russian text to turn into an English translation. Additionally, it is often not displayed in full (does not fit).
Pass for now. But I'm looking forward to making progress (and hoping to switch from Unity to Renpy)

If this game is completed, then it'll have to be properly translated, considering the already mentioned text sometimes not fitting which must be seen in the log, there's also the translator not translating sometimes or some parts not being properly translated

Also the developer needs to learn a bit more of japanese to understand that sayonara is not just good bye, it is THE Good Bye so your average japanese hardly use it, they go for matane~ (see you later) or mata ashita (see you tomorrow), etc. now imagine saying sayonara to your work colleague on the day they were accepted.

• Fix found errors in dialogs and localization files (if any)
• Fix minor bugs in sprites
• Clean build (remove unused assets)
• Change avatars (in dialogs) for all updated character models.
• Prepare basic sprite sets for Sabina, Henrietta and Kiana.
• Align to the correct height of all characters, she is now walking.
• Add new scenes to the end of the game (at least to the scene where Penny first comes to Hector's private lessons).
• Start connecting already laid out interfaces (instead of text stubs)
• Start working on reworking Medion's sprites (the current set is not very good), but we do not promise that I will be in time for the next build.
• Start working on models of additional students (of different races) to be shown in the starting scenes (also, rather, on build 0.00.14).

Just played through it. A very nice start! There's an interesting plot, the universe is original enough to be enjoyable, and the dialogue isn't bad.

Right now there's not much to do, and stats don't have any effects - I was hoping we'd see at least a few rudimentary choices from having a higher mind or magic stat early on, like being able to answer questions properly. And although the game says we can now see character/phone screens, it never stops dialogue for us to actually look at it.

I'd like to see more statistics in the game - for example, when choosing to study the curriculum, the game tells you that you've unlocked a better scenario for lecture #2. But why not tell us that we increased Lecture Skill by 5?

Looking forward to updates on this one. There isn't much gameplay yet, but it's nice enough to wait for some.

Well the concept and art look good enough to check out, but I'm sad I don't get to play with original Sabina I like her old style better; new Audrey looks like a nice improvement though.

On another note, you're going to have to figure something else out with the translations. People are notoriously paranoid when it comes to "Indie adult games" (I guess is a good way to put it), and will freak out if your game requires an internet connection or tries to download things on it's own. just translate the text ahead of time.

Hi! I’m Eugene Lynx, the developer behind SLAM. Truth be told, I was planning to show up on this forum sometime later. After all, the game is still at an early stage of development. The versions that are currently out are more like concept arts and attempts at finding the right visual style and narrative while the development of the Core Gameplay loop is underway, which will be showcased in version 0.1.

At that point the game will turn from a simple visual novel into an RPG Dating sim.

But since I’m here now, I’ll be updating this thread to the latest version of the game as soon as it comes out. I’m also ready to answer any of your questions about the game.

The latest version of the game is 0.00.13, which is newer than the one published here. By the way, today I’m going to recompile it, add updated sprites, and a couple of scenes with new female students.

That version 0.00.14 will be out simultaneously here and on Patreon.
