Also, speaking of unused content, some alternate version of the bacground cgs were left to the wayside. Nothing extraordinary, just bg we already know in different weather or at different times of the day. The significant thing is that, unlike the giant pile of standing cg, the bg catalog was pruned. It becomes apparent if one pays attention to the name convention. Ergo, the bg they left in the game were those they really really wanted to use, but they couldn't finish in time.

From what i can gather, a scene taking place in the city during a storm was shafted or repurposed. And we were probably meant to get cutaways to the trone room, probably some sort of short "what are the big baddies are up to right now" kind of scenes.

I skipped through all the story bits so I might be missing context but the last ending I got had all the three girls in gangbang scenes where they acted like "Heeheehee, we're gonna drain every last one of you!!" and all the men were like "Ooooooh, they're gonna drain our dicks this is amazing aaaaahhhhh!!" which sounds pretty positive to me.

No. Quit and deleted it then and there. JJ's behavior and the lack of choice after all the reading up to that point just rubbed me the wrong way. Perhaps an over reaction. Had figured this would be like other trainer games and allow you to choose the kind of trainer you want to be.

Close the game, go into SV save folder and delete config.sd, launch Sacrifice_villains.exe and you should be able to repick your language from this screen:

then congratulation, you fucked up because that's the screen of the original japanese version, and the Gofile link contains a perfectely working english version. I just checked it.
