Then they're compressed PNGs.The resolution of the cgs in all versions of the game is 1152x720p, which is a shame because the oldest samples images have shown that the originals are at least 1920x1080.
Now regarding the weight of the png cgs of the english version (uncut/full image only):
683202 bits is the lightest,
1405574 for the second heaviest,
4016301 for first place, a big outlier. Must be all the dust and debris caused by Justopia punch-landing on the ground.
8bpp (256 colors) > 829_440 bytes
24bpp (without alpha) > 2_488_320 bytes
32bpp (with alpha) > 3_317_760 bytes

I'm going to translate it for you so you can get down to reality.
- the game that is here is the full game.
- there is no DLC or extra content.
- the Shiravune patch that is already applied in this version is only to add censored porn to the game.
There will never be a version with less censorship or more content than this one. Don't look for things that don't exist
You know i am more interested in the story between Dickman and Madam Arachne (his flesh and blood aunt from my understanding of the game story?) than the main story.
You're right, the outlier picture is 2430x1520. I didn't notice. Good catch. The largest size file maybe not 1152x720 because it's too big even in uncompressed state.
It can. It's easy enough to extract the files, and making a simple lossy compression using pnquant could make the final file size 60% smaller. So, can this be fixed by outside sources, like the folks on this site? Or are we just up a creek without a paddle?
Erm… think there might have been a miscommunication? That or I’m misunderstanding, in which case I apologize. I don’t care about the file size, that’s not the issue. I was wondering if it was possible to fix and reintegrate the missing standing CGs, so that scenes aren’t just blank. To me, thats the more egregious error at play here. Sorry if that was less than specific. It can. It's easy enough to extract the files, and making a simple lossy compression using pnquant could make the final file size 60% smaller.
I've tested on one of the folder's and the size was reduced from 505 MB to 150 MB.
The problem is repacking the files back together. I don't know much about how to do it, but the few ways I've tried didn't work.
The english version can have their files extracted using the same cypt key as the Kuroinu 2 jap game.
But when you try to pack the files back together with GARbro, it asks for a manual input encryption key.
I've tried using the common ones like "0xFF", "0x28", "0x30", "0x34".
But it didn't work. I also tried using tools like yuris-tool but it also didn't work, as it uses the engine default keys.
Then I went and looked around on how GARbro decrypts things to check inside its decryption database to see if I could find the key there.
But looking at the database, the Kuroinu 2 key is just "0xFF", but it has an extra 4 byte header.
Not sure it also has a custom swap table but it doesn't seem to be the case.
So I'm not sure if GARbro can repack it without modifications. The repack dialog only shows an input for the encryption key.
Surely there is a way, someone who has made a fan translation patch for a game that uses custom encryption might know how.
tl;dl: Its possible, but someone needs to be able to figure out how to repack the files to the .ypf encrypted format.
Wish we could have a fan-patch that polishes and fixes these issues. Especially being unable to save at selections is so incredibly annoying. How the heck could they overlook such a basic function? Two words: Developement Hell.
Sacrifice Villains was delayed two times before release. 2 month then 5 month, officially because of sheduling problems with some voice actresses. But, that doesn't have anything to do with the standing cg situation, right? Yep, if anything it gave the dev team more time to polish the game. But a polished jewel isn't what we got. If anything, the game bears marks of the polishing phase being cut short. Unused/unpruned standing cgs, unused backgrounds, and an unimplemented save function on Rehab screens (images of the buttons have been left in the files).
What could have caused this mess? Financial shortcoming most likely. Since the covid crisis Clockup hasn't been its usual self, output decreased, delayed games, cheap looking official pages for the latest games, etc ... Not a great situation overall, that must why they went to DMM to ask for financial partnership on SV. Looks like part of the deal was that DMM ended up with the translation rights in their hands, which they gave or sold to Shiravune instead using the usual Clockup to Mangagamer pipeline. And that's how we got the censorship fiasco.
Too soon lol. It happened barely only 24 years ago.
Joke aside, people will forget. Let them. The young doesn't have to bear the trauma of the old.

Man if I were Butcha-U, I’d be kinda pissed/disappointed. I know he was likely paid his fair share nonetheless but seeing so much of your art for a game go completely unused and unseen due to bad management and lazy coding of the game, not because there was no use for the art. I understand if Clockup were overburdened at the time of the original release but they could have polished the game later down the line and offered a patch. They exist, but only as unused game files; a player can't encounter the missing cg during a normal playtrough. I put all the standing cg files online 2 years ago, so anyone curious enough can take a look by himself. Be warned though, it's difficult to browse and parse because it's a giant pile of 7036 st_cgs full to the brim with variations. So big in fact that i had to makes 4 separate gallery for it:

I won't do all of them, but the main dividers are day/night, full body(no feet)/knee level/waist level frame(rare), blush/no blush, followed by the avalanche of facial expressions, poses, and costumes.
To me the most notable usused files are the ninja Misogi setYou must be registered to see the links, and hard nipples SamanthaYou must be registered to see the links. The first reeks of cut content, and the second is inexcusable because that standing cg was expressly made for a certain pivotal scene but we get nothing but text and the background to look at.
She does? For an example before Bad Lotion’s second scene it is said she is doning her villain attire but the standing CG is her in prison uniform.
Honestly, i don't know. I've no idea how much content is lost in the making of a regular eroge. That amount of cut content might just be bussiness as usual. And Butcha-u isn't a stranger about making cuts in his own personal projects too, sometimes for reasons that are out of my comprehension. For example, this particular facial expression from GAMOVERS:RE_FILE16/PL doesn't appear in the GAMOVERS:RE compilation.Man if I were Butcha-U, I’d be kinda pissed/disappointed.
The more I play, the more I realize how many sequences feel like they should be having standing CG but they simply couldn't be bothered to put them in. Not only is the attire wrong for some standing CG but so many pre-scene sequences don't have a standing CG talking to you at all. It's just the heroines voice lines on a background image. She does?
"Check scene"
Oh yeah, you're right, she does. Depressing. Normally, she should be wearing this outfit:
