Not sure it means anything since I think all Steam games that had an uncomfirmed date got it changed to that. I gotta say I had always played OneOne1's games as soon as they came out in Japanese despite having no idea what anyone was saying. But with them getting uncensored english releases I thought I would wait for this one. Huge mistake. It's ridiculous how long the english version of this has taken to come out. I'll just be downloading the Japanese releases in the future to play then maybe buy the english versions 3 years later on sale.
That was my exact same thought process as well. Since OneOne1's last games exploded in content and quality I always felt I was missing out playing the games in japanese so yeah.
The game came out in 2021 and I believe Kagura took up the translation a bit after so we are talking about a translation process of about one and a half year by now....which when you think about it is not that long for a quality translation IF we are talking about as massive as games like the Rance series.
Samurai Vandalism is certainly not that big of a game and Kagura already translated OneOne1's other games in a shorter window so it is especially confusing why it takes that long.
If we follow the trend of the devs we first get an append for Samurai Vandalism before we get an official translation like the Pray Game from U-Room.
That is another bitter pill. Not only takes the translation ages as well but Kagura has no intention (as far as I know) to translate the DLC content.
I love Kagura for bringing us quality translations but a non existent communication on translation processes and prioritizing which game is getting pushed feels weird.
Going forward the next OneOne1 game will be played in japanese again.
