Expect it in July. Should be a good good patch. No doubt. We are working very hard to make sure the new content and the new Engine are slick and it feels good.

Don't worry, I'm not expecting the mona lisa but I am excited for some goofy things to do in a free roaming snap game.

I'm just here hoping for roaming futa monstergirls. Ideally, there would be some way to scale the amount of dicks one may see in the game, and on who, for those more or less into em.

Getting ready to release a new build of the remade game in Unreal Engine 5. This build will have 3 monster girls (because we needed to remake them for rigging complications), a perspective change to First Person, camera tech and local photo saving, basic AI (fleeing, drinking, wandering, simple POI interactions), a basic landscape, and if we can accomplish it before the end of the week introducing our Doll sex system.

Looks kinda interesting and could be also fun but unfortunately im afraid that I wont buy it... For games like these I kinda expect some tech demo or older but still relevant version for free so I could test it out myself, how the game runs, how its played and whatnot (nah videos or pics are not enough) and to just explore all the features if the ones on demand are present or not, if yes then buy and support the devs, if not then ask devs to implement them features and also support the devs and if no reply or opinion given, not buying the game at all, deleting it and looking for something else to support. I aint no furry but them models I have seen so far are so dang hot... Lets see how its gonna go, its already in my whishlist on steam so I could track the progress but without testing, I aint buying it. Sowwy

Telling me you won't purchase on a piracy website is a bit of an oxymoron right?
Count me Intrigued, so if i understood it it's, for lack of a better term, pokemon-snap but porn, wonder how everything will work once the game is finished. besides, i heard the Animator CumminHam is working alongside you guys, which is a big plus for me since i love that dudes animations.
i'll just state a few wishes and ask a few questions;
so i understood it's our job to stay hidden and take photos of the girls waltzing about the place and going about their day. but since it's a porn game, in what capacity will sex be involved? i think i've read on the blog that the Tiger is planned to target the player for some fucking in future updates, but that's about it. do we just watch em' go at each other like a peeping tom, or will something be implemented to get close to them so we also have some funtime with them? i mean i wouldn't mind more "predators" that chase us to "relieve some stress"
i also hope we get a slider/choice how high the chance for futas should be (unless it's important for gameplay reasons) since i'm not a big fan of chicks with dicks. i prefer it rather vanilla, still, thanks for considering adding a male or custom character for future versions.
either way, i wish you guys luck with the game. it looks fascinating. and i'm always up for stuff involving monster girls.

I personally hope that we get to play as some of the creatures and prowl around sometimes. But that would just be goofing around. I would assume the main idea is to catch things doing things on their own in specific areas while hiding or something.

Righto let me break it down. As Pokemon Snap was our starting point, it won't be the end point though.
Sapphire Safari will have three main gameplay loops.
1. Main narrative and quests: Follow in the footsteps of the first exploration team who have lost the islands. Discover what happened to them and recover their gear to explore deeper areas.
2. Side quests and small stories: Find discarded logs of the first exploration team and complete their objectives, these include discovering new areas, recovering small upgrade items (photo inventory expansion, etc), taking specific vista shots, and capturing rare moments.
3. Monpedia completion: Complete the monster diary by taking photos of monster girls doing a whole manner of things (sleeping, sexing, eating, relaxing, bathing, etc). Doing so will grow the familiarity with the monster girl and that species will become more docile, allowing the player to interact in a lot of different ways, including playing, petting, and sex.
You will be able to set up detailed sex scenes with extreme customizability including repositioning all limbs, and moveable parts, increasing speeds, adding in multiple partners, and even wild monsters will join in if they enjoy the sight too much. Think of our sex system as an elaborate diorama where the positions in the orgy can be modified and altered based on preference. Male-equipped monsters will control their own pleasure during these scenes with your player character being the only one you can control the speed of, you can however grab any limb you want and move it around.
Here is an example of our missionary posing lock steps, every frame (the video is better the gif is a shittier example) is a locking point, and the limbs will move around as well to create more pleasure for the creature in question - like playing with their own nipples for example. This missionary position has a total of 5 penis insert points (anus, vaginal, mouth, hands) and possibly maybe the feet.
This also does not include the Predators and the Alpha hunting down fresh holes to fill organically as well.
But yes, peeping tom will be a major part of the game as well. The sex stuff is kinda like an extra topping. As for the Futa stuff, yes, the next patch should contain a toggle for Futa, along with a slider for the percentage Futa can show up (it's set to like 5% in the va004 patch).
We might do some dumb unlock for taking on monster girl forms. I dunno.
I've been watching the game for awhile and am eager to see you guys keeping doing the good stuff. I haven't actually played it yet as I'm waiting for a slightly more complete build, but I am in love with the idea behind it.
Heya thanks for the explanation, sounds like a lot of work, but i hope you guys manage it, i just wanna find one 3D monstergirl game in good quality that doesn't "lose the spark" so to speak during development. i'll be sure to watch the development with curiosity.
also kinda curious about the main storyline now, a exploration team that got lost around those islands? wonder where they ended up. also the idea of lining up the girls towards various positions and all sounds fascinating, must've been difficult to program by the sounds of it. can't wait to see that in action.
Mate, I am the best pirate you have ever seen... But I also support people that deserve it... For example a game called Succubus... pretty weird gore game based in the hell with ton of blood and whatnot... I tried it cuz dev released a demo version, I liked it and bought it with all DLCs he made on steam... I do buy games that I get to try and lately I do that with big devs aswell... Its nothing to be ashamed of... What I meant by my post was mainly a that the devs could consider of making a version of the game with few features as a demo so people like me could try it without pirating the game xD I am oldschool person and I do miss demo games from early days cuz it made me buy a ton of games but nowdays I see a game, looks great on video and pics but actual gameplay is complete trash... For example Far Cry 6... looked awesome on YTB but that game is not worth 10 Eur... So I hope you do understand what I meant xD I love gamers whom make games for gamers... I want to support people whom do that but I gotta see the work first hand... Or that game called Bright Memory... Wicked game by solo developer... Also in my steam library... and a couple other H games I have found on DL site...
I mean no harm and I aint just a pirate whom gets everything but gives nothing... But sometimes is better to get something before you start supporting something you dont even know... That is how bussiness work...

The concept for the doll system and the programming was done quite quickly as we had it in the original version as well but getting it to feel good is taking a lot of the work. We have to thread the line to not make them feel like a VR game npc going ragdoll and something the player has no control over.
Very interesting, I like the idea this game is pushing. Definitely more excited than I was before now.
