I was planning on subbing when this game showed more growth, given I've gotten burned from pledging in the past. Reallyyy dodged a bullet on this one, because Library of Ruina VNs are not my jam. The people who pledged that are clawing at the walls in fury have every right to be, because the most appealing aspects of this game were completely removed.
And to the people mentioning CoC2, man you can't NOT also include The Observer when doing that. Vel has Savin quality writing and TObs tier salt

unironically, yes. despite Fen's myriad of issues, he did write some of CoC competently, as in "it's a text-based porn game, who cares about lore or character drama". you knew what to expect. Savin tries to be everything Fen was but fails in every regard. none of the charm of the original is there - it's heavily diluted furshit with a huge side of weebshit, with too many awful ideas by too many incompetent writers, to even be considered coherent.
this, unironically. Observer is a cringe compilation given form. the only thing Vel has over the CoC2 writers is that the fetishes he writes into aren't dogshit coomerslop. however, it remains to be seen if any future content for this game will feature primarily bla- i mean, minotaur bulls, with a heavy emphasis on cuckoldry. then maybe Vel, Savin and Tobs will be in a race to the bottom.And to the people mentioning CoC2, man you can't NOT also include The Observer when doing that. tbh at this point, just play Kay-Pri if you want the same experience before the Card battle system but way better, the dev already and perhaps will double down on the gameplay and Visual Novel aspect changes already. It's a matter of time either really it would be like this or by some ungodly miracle the dev would just continue the game we know more perhaps i dont know when though.

Guys, I have the solution to make the game go back to how it was before:
1- We enter their discord as super friendly simps and recommend Velminth to play RPG games.
2- Velminth tries RPG games and likes them.
3- He decides to transform the game into an RPG with world exploration.
Other possible options:
- We must show Velminth "Beat'em up" games like Street of Rage or River City Girls so the next version of the game is a super incredible desert fighting game.

I don't think there is review spamming happening, i'm sure many people use F95checker or only check updated games, and since the 0.16 update went live on f95 the reviews have been coming in.. and well yeah people saw the update tried it and didn't liked it, it's just the response to the update from people what didn't had the thread on watch.
