Velminth I love what you have done with the game as VN. I hope it meets your expectations and we get a lot of options just like in the previous version with the H-events and all. Massage parlor was the best part of the previous version.
Keep up the good work

No, it depends on the case. It's the same with games: it's one thing if you buy games on steam, another if you support developers on patreon and get games as a "gift" for support. And the third is when you get games for free.
In first case you can just return game in 2h.
In second case you can stop to supporting.
In third case devs can do whatever they want while players crying.
You're still dodging the question, confirming that the answer is yes.

What do you think warning people off and leaving a bad review is? Might that be stopping to support the game? Nah, couldn't possibly be that.

I think pirates don´t have the right to complain about a developer changing their game.
I personally liked the first version the most too and the second could totally satisfy my fun as well with a lot of finetuning. But people in this forum play the games for free. We should be thankful for the game and if its not to your liking, don´t play it.

If you buy a coffee outside, you have the right to demand it being drinkable. But not if you get a free gift somewhere

Uh oh, unlocking new "tenets" (aka armor/items) is going to happen with a "gacha" according to Trello.

It's like dev's personality changed overnight with how they went about developing the game.
Reminds me of a few VN games that done similar system, like "Knight & Princess" by Yukari. Granted the inspiration is obviously from Limbus Company games.

Given that the dev has also straight up say they dont care about what paying members want either I think everyone should be complaining.

He still has the right to do so. It's his game and he's not a slave to the supporters. If they don't like it they can raise a shit storm, but as we can see it doesn't change his opinion, on the contrary he has become even more aggressive towards the public.

It`s working both ways. So long I don`t involved in marketing of the product no one has right to complain about my negativity. Especially when too much reasons for it.

Try reading the whole comment first. And think about audience behavior in the context of audience benefits.
I did read the whole comment. Still there's nobody denying him the right to do whatever he wants with his game. People don't like what he did and complain. If you have a problem with that, too bad.
As for the "context of audience benefits", that's a funny situation because bait and switch rarely benefits the audience. Good example right here, audience got sold on an rpgmaker game with battlefuck/KP mechanics and got shafted for some VN bs. https://f95zone.to/threads/saria-reclaimed-v0-16-velminth.114058/post-12698397
So how exactly does this benefit the audience? Try thinking for a second before making another post.
