If it’s happening that early, there may be a comparability issue. You could try playing the browser version at arnii.games - site is ad free and only has very basic trackers.

The FREEPASS cheat won't work because the Electron package that I use to make this downloadable doesn't support dialog boxes. In future games I will try to fix this.

Will be difficult to estimate for part 2 too, I think it will take at least 3 times longer to play. It’s something I am trying to get some feedback from people testing the game.I think "estimate" is the more appropriate term instead of judge

Yes. Not exactly the same, but the auntie’s studio will be used by the girls to shoot scenes and make money. The final scene will only be unlocked if you make enough money.
It is left to her sister, Anna, and her friends to save Erin
Protag could be male/female (multiprotagonist option?) friend who gets to "help" all girls in game.
Yes, description suggests sister as a protagonist, but an appropriate tag would not hurt.
Thanks. No I’m not planning to go to Renpy as it is a bit too restrictive for me (but I agree, ppl are making some amazing games on it!). I also enjoy developing my own game engine, and I will keep working with it in the short to medium term.

Any plans on bringing the Haunted Island series up to the spec of rending you have now?, I downloaded and played Saving Sister, what game platform is it on?, the animation is smooth, skin texture is lovely and renders look beautiful.
Maybe a "Return to Haunted Island" could be done at some point, with all the smooth animation, the beautiful renders, and easy gameplay You have now on this platform, it would be amazing to see Hannah and the gang return, but in a mystery kind of game, Ghosts, great story, shocks, horrors, nothing Hannah couldnt handle me thinks.
I would love to bring back Hannah, Lucy, Amy etc... and use them with the game engine I have now. The biggest issue I would have is that most of the models I use for those games are Genesis 2, which is kind of old now and would be almost impossible to animate in the way I do now. I have thought about maybe trying to recreate those figures with Genesis 8 (the latest), but I'm not sure that would work.
The game engine I use is called Phaser btw, I have always used the same one, but I have improved and added my own functionality to it over the years.

I`m sure if you created Hannah, Lucy and Amy from a base model Gen2 to your own specs, could You simply not use the base model again with your own specs on a Gen8?.
I mean I know Iray improves a render endlessly, I saw your early work prior to Iray and then with Iray, and the improvements are stunning, no pressure here from me, You have made a lot of great games, but for me the story, renders, animation in the Haunted Island series were the best, with Gen8 and Phaser, just imagine how a new series for a "Return To Haunted Island" could be.
Just some food for thought.
