VN - Ren'Py - Savior [v0.16c] [Purple Fellas]

I tried this based on the positive reviews and the nice looking girls. Graphics look top notch! However, as soon as the story begins so does the disappointment.
The dialogue is so juvenile and immature that I thought it must be a thing or a reason for it. I kept going despite the cringe, but I could not take the horrible personalities.
The premise sets us up to believe things will be serious and possibly even slightly dark. Sounds good? That does, but what is delivered is not. It goes right into grade school banter and immature teasing without a thought or care of the reality around the characters involved in said banter. I mean immature as in it feels like a 10 year old had the idea and most of the dialogue already written and then someone ported it into... this game. Yes, quite disturbing. But hey, pretty girls so I give it a free bonus star.

Amazing animations, lifelike renders, compelling characters, and a captivating plot. What more could you ask for?

This game is a must-play for... Well, pretty much everyone.
Original and seducing story? Check.
Quality, hot renders? Check.
Interesting characters? Check.

I mean, I'm speechless on how this game took me by surprise. It has a really original story and even if some characters are really not all that original (you know, the bratty sister, the lonely mother, etc) they're still very interesting. And the way the story develops is really interesting as well. I'm baffled that this game has "only" that much support on Patreon. I'm still getting acquainted with this so I don't know about the devs work ethics, but this is a very high-end game with a clear focus on quality, up to the last details so I thought this was going to have a lot more, like those in the "big league".
I'm completely hooked on this story and I can't wait to play the next versions

This game would be perfect if you weren't forced to start a new game after EVERY update, the animations are great, the story is compelling & the characters have depth to them, I would go as far as to say it would be one of the best games on here if only the having to restart with each update wasn't such a headache, I would have rated this game 5 Stars if it wasn't for that major downside

Here are my thoughts after playing v0.6a

I liked:
-Daisy, both of them
-great and interesting story
-hot women
-hot sex scenes
-great renders
-good animations
-character development depends on the player's choices
-the MC can choose what kind of relationship he wants to have with each of the women
-there are no forced/unavoidable scenes for the MC and other characters
-equal contents on both the good and evil affinities but I liked most of the scenes and the outcomes of each scenes from the good affinity

I did not like:
-the animations where in the whole frame is moving together with the movements of the moving character made me nauseous. I know it is possible to make it so that the character is the only one that is moving and I really hope that it would be the case on the upcoming updates.
-a few grammatical errors but it's no big deal

I'd give it 4 stars because of the bobbing camera effect on the animations but for my sweet Daisy I'll give it 5 stars

Review of v0.6a....

I enjoyed this game for the most part. The renders and characters are beautiful, and I always enjoy a story that takes a bit of a sci-fi turn.

There are two things that keep me from giving Savior a full 5 stars.

1. I got a number of exception errors later in the game. You can just ignore them and keep playing, but the issue is they kept happening.
2. The writing. This is the main thing holding the game back a bit. The script is plagued with spelling and grammar errors. I don't know if this is because of a poor proofread, or English being the authors second language. The MC also tends to repeat dialogue if he speaks to several different characters in a short amount of time.

The story interests me and I would really like to play the finished game to see how everything turns out, but the writing keeps me from giving the game a full 5 stars. If the dev can do a better proofread and try to clean up the script it would improve the game greatly. That being said I would still recommend this game to anyone who asked.

It's really impressive in all the possible ways. Stunning renders and animations, interesting and well developed story, good writings. Bravo.

For unknown reason renders become worse in the last arc, but just a litle, so still better then 99% of other games.

Fantastic art, great animations as well, quite a decent story and good gameplay.

Gameplay thankfully isn't grindy or boring at all and helps the story move forward. No complicated branching paths that require you to follow a walkthrough and keep track of all the different stats. Simple and effective stuff.

Art 5/5 The girls are beautiful and the animations look great and promising for the future.
Writing 0/5 The writer is clearly not a native English speaker and makes too many mistakes (both grammatical errors and typo's). It's extremely distracting. The way the characters talk to each other is plain stupid in a lot of places. The plot might deserve a few points more than 0, but it's not great.
So my recommendation is try it out, look at the art and skip the story.

I don't usually review, it's too much of a chore but this game deserves it.
The plot/narrative is wonderful and the CGs/renders are exceptional except for the scene where alternate Daisy's hair was on her ear when it should have been pushed behind it. The animations are smooth but the transition between static images and the animated scene isn't as smooth, though that may just be for me. This game is gonna be HUGE storage-wise as it progresses but with the quality it has, I can overlook it. My only problem is that I had to start over from 0.3 because my save file from 0.5 wouldn't work with the current version (0.6a) and that made me remove a star but otherwise, 10/10.

Awesome game, love all the sexy characters, good story, get to branch off in different directions with choices.. to some extent. Near impossible not to be a little bit evil if ya wanna have the sexy times. Haven't played this futa update yet but i can't wait, hopefully lots more of the futa character, maybe she has some futa friends to join the party? *wink*

Savior [v0.6 BETA] [Purple Fellas]

For all intents and purposes I feel this is a great game, it ticks off most of my boxes and I would give it a 5 if it updated more often and the updates were larger, I hope the dev can put more time into it because it has a lot of promise but I fear at this rate it will take too long to get finished or it will get cut short which would be a pity. Will be keeping an eye on it. And as others have mentioned as of now, its kind of short and choices aren't very significant yet, but hopefully that will change.

Great Game. Though it operates a bit like a kinetic novel with few key choices, the intriguing plot creation and the ongoing twists and turns are what bring you back to it. Love the concept of using great and unique character models for the characters and tweaking those models a bit to have completely new characters in the parallel world. Keep up the great work and please try to shorten the time between updates.

This is a really good start.
I found the rendering spot on and the characters hot.
I enjoyed the storyline, unfortunately its not finished and the new dimension needs to be explored but the potential to expand this story is huge and deserves to be done.
I am not sure what the good/bad counters do for the game in terms of outcomes for choices and we have yet to see the new characters populate the character list (the red character place holders) are these enemy characters or are they characters from the new dimension?
With the size of the game as it is I would strongly recommend that the Dev gets the proofreading done now before the game becomes bigger as there is nothing more annoying than bad grammar or spelling (except bad erotic/sex scenes).

All that said I really look forward to the updates and a finished product.

the last time I played this game, it wasn't that good. it was just okay.
but now - hew, it got a whole lot better and much more interesting.
now things became quite immersive and I like the characters.

The story was interesting and captivating at first but then something happened and plot quality dropped significantly, had a strong feeling that it's got another writer at some point. The game still has kinda good looking renders but that's not enough with lack of writing.

It took months to update ,,, Nothing exciting at all . All comic stuff takes 4 months to update V6 ... The story looks good but this version was much talked abot by the deleloper for someting exciting things ....only to turn to the other dimension and wasting resources & time creating one little girl happiness , Maybe the next update will come up with some real action in 2022 the way the story is being told. but that might end up in 2030 . I am done ... Cant wait for 2030 to finish ... Hope the next update will be better with some real story update

I gotta be honest, I had to stop playing without finishing the game. The dialogue in this game is the most inane and juvenile I've encountered in a long time. The jokes and pranks would be funny for 14yo but not adults. Everyone's so naive and one-dimensional, playing as the MC is suffering because you're stuck with his infantile ways. The dialogues are so bad that even if all other aspects are amazing, the dialogues are the bread and butter of a VN. There's no salvaging that.

In short: if dialogues and characters with substance matter to you, then this game is not for you. But if you can overlook that then by all means go ahead.

Pro:
- Really beautiful women,
- sexy scenes,
- good visuals.
- The story is rich and interesting, not just an envelop for porn.

Con:
- Some story elements are kinda naive (see my 1st & 2nd post in this thread).
- English grammar isn't perfect.

In general:
- An interesting game. I recommend it.

This is an interesting incest themed sci-fi with lots of potential.

Review is for 0.5a

Pros:
- Animations
- Renders, the women are beautiful
-Very interesting over-arching plot that gives me some awesome Fringe vibes.
-Fun fight mini-game

Cons:
-Some pretty bad typos
-Things are too easy with direct family members, I know that it may be due to plot points, but I like a little more resistance.
-Sexy outfits really destroyed the "serious" vibes during one important "mission" scene. (I know it's a porn VN, but it was so ridiculous I laughed out loud).

This game has a ton of potential and I will gladly revise my review up to 5 stars if the game pulls off the plot, which I really hope is a lot like Fringe. I think the dialog gets a little too lovey-dovey for family members who have only been hanging out for a couple of days, but It wasn't so egregious as to make me stop playing. Plus, I'm sure plenty of people really like it!

Bottom line: Give this one a shot. It's worth it.
