If you read the developer's Q&A on discord, the new game is a new story(not a sequel, not a backstory). He said there won't be a Jason or Billy (I'm going to assume the characters will look similar, but with different names). The main character will be solving a new mystery (which is actually the name of the game)...

it was not said specifically about the loading time. He clarified that he switched to a new version of the Unity engine. It is easier to add content in it, faster.. The final picture itself is better due to light and reflections.
The twist project itself from the very beginning did not plan to develop to such a scale - he has repeatedly noted this.
I hope he will take into account all the wishes and change the approach of the game architecture itself.
This demo version is not the final version of the game, but just a technical demonstration of the capabilities of the new version of the engine. Everything can still change.
Idk what you meant with that but for me thetwist does not have bad loading times, if that is what you were implying.

Like 3dgame actually walking around with wasd 3dgame?! Wow, these characters are actually really good for one of those.
It's like super obvious that the people complaining are used to renpy slideshow games, cause 90% of the actually 3d movement games will look like they hand sculpted the characters out of clay with a broken hand. This is some nice work.

Because renpy is super easy to use and you have "rollback (nubs like this to much)". This game is an improvement in every way to his previous project.
