I unfortunately ought to agree with both opinions. This game has such great potential - and I think we have to be grateful for the fact that the developer obviously does not want to milk his/her patreons by endlessly prolonging the scenes - but the scenes just happen too fast and sometimes without the necessary connection between them. So the dev should really take his time and take care of such details then this game would indeed be a gem! Look at games like AL or DeprAwa or BaDIK ... they have a huge amount of content and still develop steady over time so that you get used to the scenes and the characters and the plotline without feeling rushed.

I tried to pick the nothx options whereever i could regarding weed.. untill the game said "Fuckyou player, things are going my way here so stop sabotaging and snort the pot!" and was forced upon me. I can't express the emotional trauma this caused in my innocent fragile soulflower.

Do you actually put the patch where it belongs to? This one is unfortunately done in a way that its already placed within a game folder so if you just extract it there you will have a SecondChance-0.3-pc\game\game structure. You put the actual patch file into the game folder.

In 02 version I had no problem, the MC's mom left home (no mention of Ward/Mentor etc)
I downloaded 03 version, opened the Incest patch, took out the "game" file and put it in the main "game" folder and I restarted the game to remind myself of the plot and I was back to Ward/Mentor.

Ah yes, that explains it. These kinda incest patches doesn't work very well with older saves. So get rid of the old persistent file in the save folder (the Appdata/Renpy save folder) and then start anew.
The renders of the girls are nice, but unfortunately as is often the case, you spend far too much time looking at dudes. Why strait males want to spend so much time looking at men in their porn games is beyond me.
Couple that with the fact that the scenes move super fast and bounce around like a pinball and it's really hard to get invested in anything that's going on.
The renders are great though. If they'd stop rendering men for like 3 seconds and render some more women instead, long enough to set the mood and payoff for a scene, they'd have something great here.

I removed the "persistent file" in the "saves" and all was well until I reached the scene where the MC helps with the washing up , from there up to the bedroom /blackmail scene, his "mom" became "role model".
