if character is super popular and there is high demand, dev "could" just correct her age, tweak the story a tad. sky's the limit here, really just up to the writer. or maybe the dev just wants a nice, friendly, younger sister character thats NOT part of the shenanigans. not every character HAS to be a love interest.
maybe say she's just turned 18 ala "barely legal" style (that used to be a relatively popular and real thing here in the states and in the UK. is it still?) and is finishing high school. or could patch in hidden content like a few other games around here, like parental love for instance. can't say that would be a magic bullet tho, as an age increase might actually reduce the attraction or demand for many of those requesting more... interaction.

It wouldnt reduce the attraction for me I think she is really cute. I actually thought about saying something about just making her 18. Could just make the MC almost 19 or could just make him 20. If he was 20 then she could be 18 and still be a couple of years younger. The relationship between the Mom and Son went 0-100 very quick. They practically was ready to fuck each other from the first sight.

I just want to say that I really like the game so far (playing only Forgiven route, as that's my personal favorite)

That being said, I'm seeing a lot of love for Dereck and feelings that he's a good guy and step dad...from a lot of you guys.
I have a different take on it though, as I do not view him as an awesome stepdad or a good buddy like ( Liam, from Acting Lessons).
I actually think he's a big asshole and is getting exactly what he gave....
First of all, the Mom went on a break, NOT a divorce or a marriage breaking leave. Most likely as breaks go, is to separate yourself from a heated moment for a day or so, to collect yourself and come back calm and deal with it like Adults.
Usually it's over something stupid anyway......Like Dad forgetting to put the toilet seat lid back down after pissing, and Mom not paying enough attention, accidentally sits down, and her ass goes clear down to the water. Being a little pissed and they both go into a little argument, that results into her leaving to stay at her parents house to cool off.
Now while she's away, Dereck takes full opportunity (NTR style) and offers a (wink, wink) innocent cup of coffee so she can offload her problems......I think too, he may have drugged her coffee with that concentrated aphrodisiac Date rape drug ( the one that, for some women, chemicaly has a side effect of the feelings of a false love).
Now, it either has to be the drug scenario, because she just met him....and she had described him as being her true love (chemically induced of course) and just going on the one time memory feeling...thinking it was real.
or
He was a son of a bitch friend of Dad's or Rival and both of them being in love with Mom at the same time maybe during school or something...and Dad won out....Dereck was just bidding himself time for such an opprtunity and took it......Still making him an NTR Bastard.
I think Mom couldn't stand not being away from any of her kids, when you know the daughter had to stay with Dereck.
I believe that Mom probably thought that she had a chance of having both if she went to Dereck (him being a Lawyer), because if she tried to take her son, she would at that point, would have no leg to stand on (to get the MC) as she was the one that was unfaithful and could be deemed as an unfit Mother.
So when she confronted Dereck....who by the way had no intensions of leaving his wife....(as it had been years later that she made her decision to leave to be with her daughter) and that was the moment when Dereck's wife decides to leave his cheating ass.
I really believe that (just like the MC's Father) he wasn't going to raise another man's kid (the MC).....it really shows that may be the case, as the Mom always sent presents/ gifts and letters/postcard through out the MC life.
I believe that, that Dereck son of a bitch is getting the exactly the same kind of NTR shit done to him, just as he knowingly did to the MC's Dad.
So he's more to blame, than the Mom was....maybe more so, as he was not only married himself, but knew she was too.

You should try the other route too, when you forgive your mom and accept her advances it's all fine and dandy but she shows her true colours when things are not going her way.
You can block it out and invent your own backstory for the stepdad, that's fine but it's not what the dev intended.
The stepdad is being nothing but nice for the MC since he got there, he's there not only to make us feel bad for him when his wife cheats on him, but to show how much more of a raging bitch she is. Makes you hate her even more.
I personally wasn't even considering playing the "unforgiven" path when this game dropped, but now im all in for it.
It's a nice breath of a fresh air.
Can't wait for the roles to turn, and for MC to give that bitch what she deserves.

Also, IMHO, this is a pretty good game. However, there are times where the story is really disjointed and the dialog is stiff. Issues that could (should?) be fixed. If addressed I think this could be a top 20-40 game for sure. It's a good game and I'll keep playing and it is worth peoples time. The writing does get better the back half of the game.

Chloe is underage. Your character is only about 18, Chloe is currently a little younger than 16.
That said, I still there could be a lot more work put into Chloe's character because she's a very bland setting piece that never really adds anything to the story. There's no little sister adoration moments or her being in some trouble that he saves her from. Her role in the story is that of a ghost. Hell, we've never even seen her room in this game. I have no idea where she sleeps. The attic probably.
Chloe is the one character in the house who genuinely loves him and is happy he's there regardless of the route he's on and she gets no story development at all. She's there to help you with the blackmail, introduce Reedley and be there for dinner or have off screen conversations with you.
Hm, i am a bit split on this game. I mean i like the artwork, some early animations are a bit clunky though, hope they get better (i am still early in the game i think).
