Hello! No, the VR hypno content is not how to start the bimbo content. According to the Secretary Wiki to start working as a bimbo you need:
Get assessed as a bimbo by Mrs. Antlers
- For this event to trigger, you'll first need to meet a few requirements:
- You can't have another special event trigger during your after work review
- The exception to this is the repeated invite to the after work party
- Smarts <= 5
- Sex Obsession > 10
- Need to have been present at work for majority of the hours during the current week
- Need to have worked poorly (completed less work than expected)
- You can't have another special event trigger during your after work review
- After meeting these requirements, you will get a scene where Mrs. Antlers assesses you as a bimbo during your after work review. She will mention a training program she enrolled you in. You will start it the next morning you arrive at work.
- The next morning you arrive at work you will receive an email with a "training" video, you'll then go through the video learning about all the things that make a bimbo secretary. After finishing the training video, you will unlock the ability to work as a bimbo secretary when you start your morning at work.

Is there a money/greed way to get a new haircut? Taking the free offer from Stan seems to mark you as "voluntary".
keep going to work with the starter haircut after reaching stage 2 and when you're told to get it changed at the in-office stylist try to ask for a pay raise for it in exchange

I got kind of worried that the hypno-suggestion stuff (while featuring some admittedly cool glitching effects) would make my Smarts stat useless and force me into defaulting to airheaded/slutty decisions. I'll just go through the VR stuff normally and see where it goes then. (Though I really wanted to go through the VR stuff so I could help out a character in need for a later side quest).
Is there a way to get the Money version of prostitution? Asking Dafne directly seems to be Voluntary while going with Candy is Obedient.
I think it has to do something with Candice or Trapper. But i don't really remember.

If you mean unlocking prostitution as in the alleyway, then I don't believe a secretary style is associated with it (unless they've updated it). If you mean just gloryhole work, then during the first encounter give a handjob for the money.
