I'm enjoying the game so far, and i appriciate your focus on fleshing out the enviroment, rather than just adding half finished fluff. But like the guy above, i find "combat" robots completely useless, other then escorting me to social training school. Which is also, kinda useless if you have good enough social skill to start off.

They need another use in my opinion.. Maybe add a combat job that gives you some money? Like hiring them out as security for the strip club or something.
Friday afternoon/evening(I do not remember which) check individual bots mission. OPEN S class bot UFC type fights, with 50k in prize money per match(you can send more than one bot...I would send 10). With the random chance of losing a fight. I enjoy the back button, then save, and try that fight again. It also increases your combat bot reputation.

I’m sorry but removing mods will almost always cause crashes. You can add them at any time but if you remove them you must start a new game.

The game can be “beaten” this way, if you enjoy that go ahead. I’ve done things like that myself when a game is frustrating me. Games are for fun! :)

I heard about a dump just outside of town. They dumped all kind of bots there for over 100 years(looks like a mountain). I hear some collectors pay well for some of these old outdated bots, especially the early "Sexus" models(E class bots only able to learn social(to B) and sex skills(S) with one of the first psycores ever created(very stable, but unable to learn much beyond the hardwired sex skills, social skills were always challenging to train). It was also a dumping ground for broken down or outdated manufacturing, household, and military bots, all dated compared to modern models(up to D class) but who knows what you could find. Rumors are some experimental corporate bots that never ended up in production ended up there as well (rare B or even A bot find).

There is even a rumor someone found a Lilith, the only bot that ever became self aware. They where all destroyed and are highly illegal(S+ class) a few might remain, but most have been melted down and laws written to prevent it from happening again. 2ap to arrive,2 ap to salvage(closed dump, you are digging holes) chance of finding something would be very high as you will likely find something anywhere you dig), no security(the company who managed dump/security went out of business for breaking environmental laws). The local government covered it in a layer of dirt 30 years ago and no one wants to own it(the dumping issue) so it sits abandoned.

*Man is it just me or does "Ruthie" down at the corner store look a lot like the pictures of a Lilith with just different color and longer hair? Makes you wonder.

I wonder if I can find the place(ie I have zero clue how to make a mod and need a hero)? For now it is just a rumor,at least for me.

I think the random loss is to high vs based on skill and parts of your bot. I have 17 S rated bots and S100 combat skills, but still would randomly lose almost half of my fights. It was wrecking my combat bot trainer rep(you seem to lose much more than what you gain from winning a fight,so repeated losses take a serious toll).

It’s about even, bots who win tend to keep winning and vice versa. Act accordingly.

I like your story but you’re talking about almost another game! Hard for a mod to generate that much new stuff unless the game is abandoned. SR24 can do it because DSCS is abandoned. Your idea requires a spin-off, I don’t think a mod would work.

--- Though it breaks my heart to do this, early game, you may want to shred a few salvaged chassis to get some bulk spare parts. Salvaging a chassis, and then dismantling it, costs just 2 AP total; this can yield a decent haul of parts (as many as 7+). Unfortunately, there's no way to just remove a part, so you can't quite "strip" a good chassis of its good parts and replace them later. You can also do this to a cheap flea market bot or two if you just want excess parts for swaps.
I just wanted to go into this a bit.
Salvaging cost 1AP.
If you Disassemble from a Capsule, it costs 1AP, BUT, if you Disassemble from Storage it will cost 2AP. 1AP to Interact with the bot and 1AP to Disassemble it.
So, make sure it's in a Capsule before you mess with it, otherwise you're just wasting AP.

If a bot manager sends a bot that is cheating it is a bug. My intention was that bot managers obey rules. I will look into it.

Sorry, was forgetting something. If you have a manager and allow them to manage a bot they will do it. If you put B or higher parts on a C rated bot and allow it to be managed then the manager assumes you intended to cheat. You set up the situation, don’t blame the bot manager. If you don’t want to cheat don’t allow overbuilt bots to be managed.

But the open Class is free there are no limitations? and the Manager sends the bot debending on the Class? i see because if a D-Class Bot comes with combat S of course i put in a-S Grade parts ^^

that answers a base question if the Frameclass of the bot does matter....

but for "homework" a Dframe with S-Parts is ok right?

I was unsure if a mod could add a location, other than that why would it require a spin off? It would require some bots and the stories about them. Could those bots not be tied to the location as well(like high end bots at the club or low end at the flea market)? Short of generating a new location how would it be different than any bot mod(ap points would be tied to the location like neighborhood vs 13 so making it 2ap should not be difficult?). Maybe I misunderstand what mods are able to do?

Tried again to fix cpu consumption issue and I think this working better. Removed completely renpy.redraw call from MaxableImage because apparently it was attempt to fix problem with events not passing from parent Text displayable where "{image=}" tag was used (which is probably renpy's optimization of constant displayables and documentation says "{image=}" tag intended for small images: ). To prevent creation of parent Text displayable, in status screens of mc and bots images declared with 'add' statement and without "{image=}" tag (right sidebar already uses this declaration for bot avatar). For main interaction screen where all game events happening 'add' statement is not available and declaration of images still should use "{image=}" tag because now they automatically converted to properly styled frame with image inside.

You don't always have a free Capsule available and 2 AP to disassemble a bot in storage isn't a bad cost when you consider you will get more than 2 parts that you would only have a random chance of getting from salvaging.

A bot manager should not send a D bot to the open fights. If they are doing that it’s a bug.
Sending a D bot to an open fight even with S parts will probably lose. Keep in mind that in open fights your opponents will probably be S bots with S parts.
When determining who wins a fight these factors all matter: bot rate, parts rate, combat skill, fight record, and luck.
