It's becoming absurd, it's already stripped away so much and only gonna get messier. The new patreon friendly Melvin content is okay but it's not as good as it was.

Llamaman and other creators should focus on building up their presence on better suited platforms rather than continuously having to modify their work. I would not be shocked if patreon banned anything adult related from their platform in the near future. Trying to adjust the content to fit current terms of service might not be worthwhile if they change them again in a month or so.

And the new dialogue is where the MC asks Melvin if he's using mind control on the girls, and Melvin says something like "Of course not! They have to want it on at least some level." etc. and I remember thinking "That was to placate Patreon, and their rules regarding consent" (Which is stupid. Because pixil people can't "consent". Because they're aren't fucking real!!!", but I digress).

So it seems like this is basically a case of Patreon doubling down and saying that that is no longer good enough. How many more times will the goal posts be moved for all of these content creators? The outrage mob seems to just get more and more addicted with every dopamine hit, so it seems to me like this just isn't sustainable in the long-term and eventually one thing or another is going to have to give.

Oh for sure. The "It isn't mind control" dialogue was given right before the NTR sex so that it would be "okay". But even with it being stated in-game that it is not mind control (which, I mean, is debatable lol), I guess that still isn't enough. It's still too "grapey".... those poor, poor pixils!

Which does make me wonder if he's just going to, by necessity, have to lean more into the other direction, and make it just more straight-up NTR.

Unfortunately it was a knee jerk reaction. I was dealing with food poisoning that whole weekend, and wasnt really up for taking on potential crisis. The intention of the first message was for people to start migrating to SS, but many didn't read it like that. So I took it down. Then made the decision to pull the potentially troublesome content, and repost the update.

The main concern was getting locked out of account before being able to make any communication.

Out of curiosity, what content did you have to cut (I assume incest and bestiality maybe more), and will it effect the original vision of the game? Will said content be added in like an SS only release or something?
