Yeah thanks I've seen it, I'm a time travel buff... I kind of posed the question in a very stupid way though (I was a bit sleepy), but you kind of answered anyways, the problem is you mixed a time loop with other types of time travel, let me explain:

You definitely have it figured out. I have tried to grant myself some leeway through narrative. Such as mysterious cause effect/butterfly effect things moving across timelines (zeta stat increases, lexxx's physical state etc). As for the other parts of it, there is some key narrative still missing. So you wont be able to solve the whole thing just yet. So I guess you have to stay tuned to Sexbot Recalibrated!

In the end, it is a vessel for sexy times. but it should be a fun way to get to them

yeah of course, I get it... that's why I said I was thinking waaay too much about it... but that's how I get with timey wimey shit... I get really anal with time travel stories... I absolutely despise Looper because of how bad the time travel is in that one

I appreciated this game taking more from Primer than something like Looper =)

Is there a way to selectively reset progress? Ive advanced most characters, but would love to play through Sam again step by step without using the replay gallery.

You just redo all the steps that you did the first time you went through her content in a loop.

Honestly, the gallery's kind of redundant with how repeatable everything is by the very nature of the timeloop plot.

That makes sense. I guess than a more relevant question would be, is there a way to reset the guide to show the steps necessary to achieve the gallery items, even if youve already unlocked them?

I don't think so, at least not without either restarting or completely removing all saves and persistent files in both save locations.

Saying that, the gallery/guide you can look at during calibration does at least give you an idea of what's needed for each character, so you should be able to just look at that and make your best guess accordingly.

This was all done a little sub optimally (first game, things happen). The gallery was built on persistent data, then the guide was built on the gallery. So clearing persistent data is the only way to reset it.

Sexbot Recalibrated was coded new from the ground up, so it does not share these issues, cuz ive learned

This mod overwrites the native low-fps animations of the game with interpolated 60fps animations.

how ? Thanks to deep-learning processes, some trained models can interpolate "fake" frames next to native frames.
The result gives a smooth effect on each animations.

Disclaimer: this game contained a lot of native animations with very low framerates (below 20 fps , sometimes even 8fps)
Although interpolation can be most of the time very effective, you might notice interpolation artefacts due to very-low fps vids used as inputs
I made a quick playthrough with my mod but I didn't inspect each animation in depth , so feel free to report any flaws you find (bugs, video artifacts...)

I've decided to cut the complete rework to focus on the very low framerate animations where the main issue was motion artefacts. Please let me know of any scenes I may have missed.

For Sexbot Recalibrated : The overall quality of the first animations looks like the same compared to the Original game so there will be a benefit to make a mod on it but I'll wait for a few updates when the number of animations is sufficient.

It's as much a sequel as a "season 2" or "Chapter 2" for something is.

For whatever reason it's another case of mods/admins deciding that a "season2/chapter 2" gets put in its own thread instead of being merged into the same thread as its predecessor, for "reasons known only to them", despite countless others where that hasn't happened.

No worries, thanks for the reply, I dig the game. I found the saves in the actual game folder, but is there another location in AppData or something? Cant seem to find it.

Answered my own question five minutes later.. AppData/Roaming/RenPy/SexBot
