Not nearly enough games have futa is right, it's strange because futa is huge among Western porn artists (just check e-hentai or r34) but has an incredibly small presence in the game market. And again I don't think it's necessarily unpopular, of the few futa games that have come out most were just low quality, the only one with really high quality renders that I'm aware of (other than G4E which isnt an actual game) is Red Room and the same makers discontinued project, but who knows if Red Room won't be discontinued too.

Okay, this might just be me, but not being able to control the speed at which the scenes progress is really bothering me. Having to wait for a fixed amount of seconds before the text changes forced me to wait longer than I wanted to during some parts, while forcing me to continue earlier than I wanted in others.
Edit: Never mind, I just found the Auto Forward Speed item in the Key Items tab. Good of you to include that.

I'm aware of the issues that RPG Maker games usually have and I've tried to deal with them as best I can. The reason I switched is because RPG Maker MV games can be put on the internet and that brings in so much exposure/views that most developers even try to put engine-converted demos of their products online.
RPG Maker does use a lot of RAM, yes. Especially when the game is very script heavy. This one isn't though. I tried this game on my laptop (for several hours at a time) and I had no issues with it. RPG Maker MV games usually overheat my laptop in about an hour, but this one didn't do that. Maybe I got lucky, I don't know.
I also didn't make the map size too big and added a fast travel item to your inventory, so you don't need to run around the map if that's what you're worried about. I even (tried to at least) added an auto forward function to the game similar to how Ren'py does it during sex scenes.
But I also got the use the advantages of RPG Maker this time, which I enjoyed. We'll see if it was the right choice in the future. If everyone hates the engine, I can always port a large part of the game to Ren'py and change the game a bit

Your point is duly noted, but the dev explained why he had to stop development of the other games and start a new one.
There's not enough money to be made with them to support development.
Of course starting a new game is a two-edged sword, as while there is a chance of gaining the patreons you've been missing, it can also destroy your reputation, as Mr. Pixel's post shows.

You can control both the text speed (through options) and the auto forward speed (through a key item in your inventory). You can also turn off the auto forward there if you'd rather progress the text manually

That's okay. I was already prepared for having to answer this question at least a few times as this is not something RPGM games usually do and I understand people might be confused by it. By I'm always bothered by having to forward the text manually during sex scenes (let's face it, you're busy with other things during those most likely), so I wanted to try adding it to my own game. It might not be perfect, but that's why you can turn it off if you don't like it. I think the option to have it in there for the people who do want it (like myself) can have it. And I turned it on by default to clearly show that it was there so people wouldn't miss it

I am very sorry to read that we might not/won't see an update to The Desire Within in the future.
Neither HSCS nor BSCA really grabbed my imagination. I've never really sat down to think why.
I did however love Blooming Love, though I discovered it long after it was completed. There was depth there I rarely see in other games and I really commend you for it.
If it weren't for the money, I would say follow your heart and ignore all the negativity and calls for genres that don't inspire you. Passion (imo) always delivers a much better product. But the money DOES matter - and so I hope the change of focus brings you the rewards you richly deserve.

You can make it go faster (or turn it off altogether) by using the Auto Forward Speed item in your inventory. Hope that helps

This has lots of tags that I'd look for in a game here and the art as usual by the developer looks great, the thing that puts alot of people off is the many part completed projects as they don't want to invest in something that will likely not get finished, I understand that low revenue would stop progress with games so I don't look at this negatively myself but it will have an effect on general interest here. I am looking forward to the huge potential of this game and hope it gets the interest you guys need!
From the pictures and the tags I really hope this game goes far, more then most this ticks all the boxes and rpgm really doesn't bother me as long as it's not made to increase the grind, please keep up the good work.

Good luck with this. I generally enjoy these games, so I will like this for sure.
On a different note: I don't really understand why female protag is such a problem for many people? Is it because they are picking up guys? Are they unable to think about how they are controlling the female character to try and get her stuffed with as much dick as possible? Seems really weird to me, but maybe I just enjoy corruption a tad too much.
