I'm aware of the issues that RPG Maker games usually have and I've tried to deal with them as best I can. The reason I switched is because RPG Maker MV games can be put on the internet and that brings in so much exposure/views that most developers even try to put engine-converted demos of their products online.Their Beautiful World Divinity and High School Crush was the two i was interested in an Divinity i played and liked.
Sucks all the games are canceled and you moved to an engine that i have had issues with. Sometimes rpgm games crash since they eat up ram and then all the running around along with other issues with the engine.
Hope this works out for you!
Your point is duly noted, but the dev explained why he had to stop development of the other games and start a new one.Yet another Bright Sun Studios game, when the others haven't been competed yet.
When others gone down this path, it went badly. With having this amazing community at your disposal, which is a valuable learning resource, I find it strange that one couldn't learn from the mistakes of others who have tried and failed this approach.
Spreading one's self so thin, means no quality can be given to anything, attention to detail is diminished, and fans of one particular title have to wait that bit longer for updates.
You can control both the text speed (through options) and the auto forward speed (through a key item in your inventory). You can also turn off the auto forward there if you'd rather progress the text manuallyOkay, this might just be me, but not being able to control the speed at which the scenes progress is really bothering me. Having to wait for a fixed amount of seconds before the text changes forced me to wait longer than I wanted to during some parts, while forcing me to continue earlier than I wanted in others.
Yeah, I guess I was getting a bit impatient and posted here before I found that item. Was just too late with editing my post too.You can control both the text speed (through options) and the auto forward speed (through a key item in your inventory). That's okay. I was already prepared for having to answer this question at least a few times as this is not something RPGM games usually do and I understand people might be confused by it. By I'm always bothered by having to forward the text manually during sex scenes (let's face it, you're busy with other things during those most likely), so I wanted to try adding it to my own game. It might not be perfect, but that's why you can turn it off if you don't like it. I think the option to have it in there for the people who do want it (like myself) can have it. And I turned it on by default to clearly show that it was there so people wouldn't miss itYeah, I guess I was getting a bit impatient and posted here before I found that item. You can make it go faster (or turn it off altogether) by using the Auto Forward Speed item in your inventory. Hope that helpsthe text scrolling during the scenes is so painfully slow
Damn, and here I was playing AD&D wrong all those years ago...Paladins are raised from birth to be the ultimate sexual lovers.
