I'm a bit out of the loop, so please excuse my question, but is this character design change ,,permanent"? (as in, a full-on retcon, or something that happens in the new story in the update?)

No, it is not a retcon, there is an in-game explanation.
As for the question "is it permanent", we don't know yet.

Thank you for the clarification. I felt like I had missed an update... I personally don't care for loli (I tend to avoid it, but I don't hate it), but seeing as Patreon doesn't approve of it, I doubt this will be a permanent thing.

back right away, like, in the next update or the next one, that will mean they'll have succumbed to pressure and won't be giving us all they can do plotwise. It would be more or less like not knowing if a character of a book is dead or alive at one point of the story. An anxious writer will be too indulgent to the reader and show the answer right away on the next episode, but a good writer is patient and will give you the answer at the right point, when the story asks for it, not when the reader wants.
Woah I'm writing too much, sorry, I'm just very excited by good stories.

And the fights with Misha and the bat girl ( i don't remember the name now) with more than 10 animations in each fight.
In the v0.16 they added 3-4 new attacks for Misha fight. (I really liked thw new vaginal penetration attack).

Go to Nadine's tent while she's rubbing herself, decline her handjob suggestion and then go to Dynae's tent and accept her offer (or does Dynae come to your tent? I forget).

If you choose the option to walk outside the camp the Bat appears. I don't know the exact criteria but she appeared after a few days I tried.

No mac or windows version is out yet on this site, but SVS Comics does have both mac and windows.

Heads up it takes around 3 hours to download the game on SVS Comics cause their servers are extremely slow, so watch a TV show or get some work done while waiting for the game to download.

Because she does resemble a child? Dynae was purposely given childlike qualities, they talk about that in the story. She literally says outright that she's not even physically mature enough to feel sexual attraction.
