I heard Steam is like 30% but I may be wrong about that. They all seem to rob folks.

Yeah but subscription plans are no bueno for this here consumer. I'm not going to pay more for an AVN than the $70 I spent on Baldur's Gate 3. Nothing personal, just how it is. My pocket book can't handle that, especially with inflation/shit economy.

There's major pushback on sub's by the way. People like actually owning their games. It's one of the problems I have with Steam and I buy stuff on GOG as much as possible. Steam can decide out of the blue you break TOS and there goes your whole library of stuff you paid for.

I do understand on 100%.
If you subscribe for $2 and pay annually with discount .. you can pay $20 for the year and enjoy all downloads and communicate directly with the developer.
I believe this is fair.
I wished to provide the game for free... i am just not that rich to afford it :rolleyes::D

Oh, yeah I don't expect anybody to work for free. This site does a pretty good job at letting me find games that I'm willing to pay for. I'm just referring to budgeting and keeping track of subscriptions and stuff. At least with Patreon we own the game that we have and it's not tied up with Steam or other DRM. I am pretty sure I've already paid a bit for this game and I'm waiting for it to be finished before I pay the last bit. That's what I usually do, if I get a bunch of hours of fun out of a game I'll pay for, say, half if I feel it's about half finished then the other half when it's done. But to each their own.

some games are.
ravagar is tied to steam DRM. and is not hosted on patreon. they just collect money there and give you access to the game on steam if you pay at least 10$/mo

I'd think so. DC (Summertime Saga) has been the highest paid AVG creator on Patreon for some years. Apparently a visit to maternity ward right after a child is born is the limit.

Summertime saga literally has an underage MC going to highschool, tons of incest, and most waifus are underaged too
It is selective enforcement of their rules.

Probably because the ultimate big bad villain of summertime saga is literally Trump. So they give it a pass.

It's official now. The 45 or so children of the protagonist can have atm have been struck off from the v0.18's to-do list on Patreon:

1.1 Enroll for city mayor (requirement is to apply in the police station for citizenship) - 4% completed

2. Kids will be removed from Patreon game - It will be not possible to take care of them, because I have to comply with the rules here.

The question is, will that affect future saves? And will their removal be done in-game so as to keep up to a degree with the story (i.e. being sent to a private school and pay their fees or something like that). I believe Summertime Saga has a children's school where the protagonist's children attend to and don't make physical appearances (other than when there are babies involved). Wonder if this will cause a big setback or not in this ongoing project? :unsure::unsure:

it is not too difficult to make a "clean" patreon version with addons. i dont remember if you use rpa archives, but most devs do not use its potential. one of the good ways is to use archives like s1e01.rpa, s1e02.rpa, .., sXeYY.rpa with media (and there is no need to download the whole game every time) and replaceble scripts.rpa with all scripts. it is easy to make addons in the same way. it may be difficult to remove all the pregnancies from the plot, but it is quite doable.

I will try to make it as painless as possible. We don't have a lot of kids for the moment (2 to be exact) and a few babies, so it will not have a big impact. I guess babies are fine, but kids, not so much.
I will continue with the full version which will have kids, just not on Patreon web site.
It will be distributed through Discord and Subscribestar.

megalono what you can do is make them grow up and have them take on their life and make content with the parents when growing up so you can do it all again, what do you think?
