Don't mind him guys. There are a lot of people here who don't use their " original " Account to post and switch between several " fake accounts " created when they susbscribed the first time. This is a rather old trick. It's like ppl on FB who create fake profiles to spy on people who blocked them. They are so #$$# in their head that they don't have the balls to use only one account.

A lttle something about what is happening at the moment, and it's not what you would like to hear, and not what I would like to tell you.
Physical health is pretty okay'ish. Depression s under control, but I'm walking on the edge of being stessed out - and that leads to a shit place for me. Slow is key.
I'm working as much as I can on the project while also trying to support my son who is facing criminal charges. I hope you can understand that this situation is rather stressful at the moment.
The same "sorry about my poor health" lie that i have seen from literally 15 other developers but ill give him bonus points for tacking on the "my baby momma's keeid been arrested fo some bulsheeit an I need money for dat bail." Thats a new one I havent heard from the others yet.

Since he doesn't get anything from his Patreon without new game updates being released there's zero incentive to make up excuses as to why there hasn't been an update, Kaffekop has been open on this very site about his personal life but I give you bonus points for not hiding behind a burner account to post this dumb shit.

I'm sorry mate but this comment is in poor taste and shows inconsideration towards an otherwise transparent game development from Kaffekop. He's been in touch with not only his Patrons but also the fans of the game here on F95, that as a developer says a lot. There are many developers out there who leech your wallet and don't deliver even on timelines set by them.

On top of it he has Patrons close to 600 and the amount of money he could make, won't help the real life scenarios for which you accuse him. Hold on to your sparmies, he has already disclosed the number of sex scenes, so he isn't taking you or anyone else for a ride.

How easy it is to say bad about a person when you don't know the person you're talking about.
Kaffekop IS NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON TO ASK YOUR MONEY. Kaffekop is the game developer who does what he can when he can and who has understood how he is, appreciates it and values it.
Good luck Kaffekop and everything goes well

Since he only gets paid upon release and you are probably not even a patreon supporter just shows you shouldn't even be in here posting anything to begin with when you clearly can't read his patreon to see that simple fact

I try to be as transparent as I dare to be towards my Patrons and followers as I believe that they deserve at least that much from me when it comes to the development of my project.
Unfortunately I think many a developer burn themselves out trying to please the crowd with those monthly update cycles, and thus end up with health issues. I also believe that creative people are a lot more prone to suffering from psychological hardship than most other people.
I'm not entirely sure that my depression stems from this, though. My doctor believes that it comes from me having to endure pain 24/7 for the past 17 years and the prospect of having to endure it until the day I check out. There is only so much that painkillers can do and although I'm on a delightful mixture of Oxycodone and Codein they only take the brunt of my pains.
Add to that the fact that my back sometimes lock itself in place for several weeks at a time, you have the recipe for disaster when it comes to development of my projects.

I'm not sure that this response will mean anything to you as it seems you have a pretty fixed idea about what is going on so ... but anyways, here it is.

You have a good one.

Cheers - Kaffekop

Hi guys and gals.
A small update about what is going on at the moment.
A lot of pressure and stress has been removed from my shoulder as my son has been cleared of all charges against him. The accusations were withdrawn as the woman admitted that she had lied about what had happened between them. A huge relief for all of us!
That out of the way I once more have been able to focus on version 0.7 and it's coming along nicely. I'm doing the last rounds of editing and rewriting of the script and will be sending it off for proof reading sometime this weekend.
I doubt I'll manage to put it all together for a release in this month but I'm fairly confident that version 0.7 will be released within the next two to three weeks to my top tier Patrons and so on and so forth.
That was it for this time around.

Cheers - Kaffekop

Sadly, no matter what you do/say/write, whether you get paid by release or pause payments, it doesn't matter to these people.
They don't understand that the stress of producing something creative, often completely on your own, and at the same time forcing it into a rigid form with regular updates to get financial support, takes a large toll from devs.
It's also interesting that most of those people are of the variant who act as if all psychological illnesses aren't real.

And they are also almost never patrons and post their bs attacks in any game-thread with a delay due to health reasons.

Frankly, for me these are people I pity. Their outlook on their fellow humans is so bleak, I wouldn't want to live like that.
I'd rather err on the side of being too trustful, than declaring everybody else is acting on base motives.
Especially when the only thing affecting me is that I have to wait a bit longer for a game (and even the most generous guy here on f95zone probably gets 90% of the games for free).

so TL,DR: Pay these people no attention. Take care of yourself and your family and as long as you are open with your patrons, I'm sure the vast majority will stick with you.

I agree. It is almost as if horny, mostly younger, men and boys are not using their brain when posting stuff on a porn-game forum ;)

Is not prescribed by the doctor to have to produce an update a month, so it is useless to ask, when she's ready, and only then, will the update and hope that no one criticizes the short or long time to be.
Let Kaffekop to choose when.
Nothing is more important than health and family
